Lebron is on his way to being the best ever.
Jordan at 31
3 rings, 3 MVPs
Lebron at 31
3 rings, 4 MVPs
when Lebron left the Cavs, they went from a finals team to missing the playoffs.
When Jordan left the Bulls to play baseball, the Bulls still finished 3rd in the east.
Competition is much greater now. Teams like Golden State, Miami, OKC, Spurs, etc. It is a miracle Lebron has 3 rings. IMO he is already best ever, if he gets to 6 then only crazies would disagree
This new trend where every time a basketball or football team wins they have to be the best ever at something is a little annoying.
Seahawks, Broncos....Best D ever?
Brady, Manning...best QB ever?
Warriors...best team ever?
LeBron....best player ever?
People just need to let that stuff breath. Even if you know the answer you can't even make any money off that shit unless you find a way to invent time travel, which is a lot more difficult than it looked in Back To The Future.
It would be cool to see them play one another in their primes. It would definitely be very competitive. I think there are some team constructions where I would rather have LeBron and others I would rather have Jordan. They are the 2 best "non-big" players though. I don't really have much question about that but that isn't anything new as far as opinions go either.
LeBron is better all around so he can carry crap/average teams a little better but for what NBA success is ultimately judged by is taking a very good team and making them great and MJ's scoring ability does that a little better than Bron's jack of all trades.
This new trend where every time a basketball or football team wins they have to be the best ever at something is a little annoying. Media (in particular the mouth breathers at ESPN) loves getting as much mileage as possible out of these questions because they can never be definitively answered.

I think it's called the Mike Greenberg syndrome.
As if the Cavs lost the game? Absolutely has an impact either way.
