League Name is FROZEN POND

You can reach by hitting JOIN>BROWSE CUSTOM LEAGUES and then SORT for ROTO leagues. It's on the first page.

LIVE draft at 8pm EDT, Friday Sep 26

Though of course if you're unable to draft live but can register, you'll get autodraft based on Yahoo preseason rankings.

Scoring:

G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, SHP, GWG, W, L, GAA, SV%, SHO

Maximum 75 moves per season, but no maximum on Games Played

Good imo because it benefits managers who put more detail into overall NHL schedule and when to get more ice time for players on your roster.

Best to all RxPucksters in coming season for both fantasy action and also investment action

I will now for the first time ever commit the crime of Boring You All To Tears by posting my first time ever NHL fantasy draft selections.

Those of you who are old hands of at least two seasons here at RxPuxtown know that I have heretofore relied almost entirely on raw team based data and stats. Going into this draft I could, if quizzed for money reward, only been able to name maybe a couple dozen NHL players outside of Goalies and TBay Lightning.

Thus, a component of my being in a FHL is that it will certainly educate me more on players at large.

That preface noted, I knew enough players thanks to last season posts from guys like SHERWOOD and VVIC that I hope to present a competitive team throughout the next six months.

I noted the Scoring Categories in a post up above. They appear to be pretty close to "Yahoo Default", so I'm guessing it's fairly easy to look at a roster and evaluate it's potential.

Names listed in order drafted for that position

G - Luongo, LeClaire, M Smith

C - Vinny, Toews, Ribier, Plekanec, Stamkos

LW - Frolov, Parise, Wolski, Stillman

RW - St Loueeey, Hemsky, Havlat

D - Boyle, Corvo, Streit, Spacek, Aucoin

Was most pleased to nab the center from the Stars (Ribier) though it was literally one pick removed from my having a chance to get Brad Richards.

Also was very pleased to nab the two Black Hawk forwards as they are both in that group often given very favorable forecasts by Sherwood and Vic.

Also feel that other than Brodeur, I may have put myself in really great shape to lock down the Shutout category.
