The Republican For People Who Hate Republicans

“Tax hikers, social liberals, and failures — those three groups make up the core support of Kasich’s base.”

Last night in California, John Kasich worked very hard to steal Jeb Bush’s donors. The only donors he could possible steal after his performance are the suckers looking to be taken advantage of by swindlers. Kasich is running a Jon Huntsman campaign, complete with Jon Huntsman’s team. It is a race that tries to portray him as the grown up, sophisticated person in the room.

This is the “MSNBC deal waiting to happen” John Kasich who comforts the media circle of jerks and mega-donors of America that there are Republicans who, when they wear Jesus on their sleeve, do so in favor of bigger government. To get there, Kasich has hired John Weaver, a blast from the past, who, like Kasich, has rejected not just the conservative wing of the GOP, but all parts of the GOP not in favor of more expansive, debt riddled government and liberal social politics.

John Weaver made a name for himself in New Hampshire in 2000, helping John McCain beat George W. Bush in that primary. After McCain ultimately lost, Weaver took his football and went home, or at least left the GOP. As the Atlanta Journal-Constitution quoted him in 2002, “I don’t think it surprised one person in McCain-land,” he said. “I think they thought I was a Democrat all along.”

This is the man Jon Kasich has hired to run his “Republican” campaign.

Weaver worked for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, theAssociation of Trial Lawyers, Jeanne Shaheen’s campaign against John Sununu, andDick Gephardt’s 2004 Presidential run. Weaver also thought Howard Dean was “very clever” back during Dean’s run for the Presidency and Weaver donated to Chuck Schumer and Jean Carnahan.
Having wandered in the land of Democratic losses throughout the early 2000’s, Weaver again joined John McCain in 2007, only to be forced out by Cindy McCain. He returned to
lead John Huntsman to nowhere in 2012. In 2014, Weaver tried to help the liberal independent, Greg Orman, win Pat Roberts’ Kansas Senate seat against the GOP.

In the Huntsman campaign, he was a source of division who was accused of attacking his own candidates after their campaigns fell apart.

Now he is running Kasich’s campaign and he’s running the same playbook as before. He and Kasich will run to the left, drip with condescension over the rest of the Republican field, play “dad” to the arguing children, and win heaping spoonfuls of praise from the media. Along the way, they will sucker donors out of dollars, lose the race, and get a great TV deal.

Kasich, in the debate last night, had few memorable lines. He relied on a twenty year old congressional record, going so far as to take credit for a balanced budget he had to be forced into working on. Kasich did not believe it possible and wanted nothing to do with it until it was forced on him by conservatives. Now he uses that and an old Fox News show as his street cred with conservatives.

As Ohio Governor, he expanded medicaid in the state and it is becoming a massive boondoggle for Ohio taxpayers.

For every Ohioan who has paid an Obamacare exchange premium, three have been added to Medicaid under Gov. John Kasich’s Obamacare expansion

Kasich famously was blocked by the Ohio legislature from expanding Obamcare in his state, but then used his line item veto to get rid of the prohibition. Now he thinks legislatures should be listened to. He also thinks Jesus would demand every state expand Obamacare.
:neenee:

Kasich’s Jesus is a Jesus who believes Roe v. Wade is settled, so pro-lifers should give up. His Jesus believes that you should bake the cake for the gay wedding. And you should expand Obamacare or be held accountable to Jesus on judgment day.

And it’s not just Weaver who Kasich is surrounding himself with. As his campaign team shapes up, look at the type of people drawing near him.

Time and time again, Kasich has aligned himself with left-leaning consultants, strategists, and politicians who hold the Republican base in contempt, attack the conservative wing of the party, and declare for themselves some sort of small government, fisically responsible bona fides when they back policies and politicians who grow government and further indebt the American people.

Tax hikers, social liberals, and failures — those three groups make up the core support of Kasich’s base. He would really like to steal Jeb Bush’s donors, men and women who made their way in the world by being successful and fighting against the very sorts of tax hiking failures whispering in John Kasich’s ear.

This is all why, on the debate stage in Simi Valley, CA, last night, John Kasich had to rely on a twenty year old record in Washington to claim he was some sort of conservative.

Do you do anything besides post slanted and sometimes fabricated "news" stories? Like, can you actually explain, discuss or articulate policy without citing often exaggerated talking points?

As someone not fond of any of the Dem candidates, and completely turned off by the idiotic anti-vacciners/defund Planned Parenthood crowd, a candidate like Kasich is very appealing. People talk about the "silent majority," but in reality people appreciate a fiscal conservative who appreciates the 10th amendment yet can be amenable to social issues that a majority of Americans support.

You see, Sheriff...^^^THIS^^^ is VERY MUCH an average American. And it's someone that you can not understand. You believe that "somehow" he is going stop being "turned off" by the whack jobs in your party? LMAO

No offense to you, Iutoffee....Sheriff and I have been discussing "stuff" in other threads so I had to point out to him again how delirious he is.
I'm an IND. He thinks I'm a left winger because he's a HARD right winger and anyone one step to his left is FAR left. LMAO

BTW...I agree with just about everything you said.

HARD right winger! :pointer:

I don't even know what that even means. Is liberty "too far right"??? Are you implying the Constitution too radical for you?? LMFAO

Here, I am going to walk you through this slowly...

Forget your ideological bullshit and political labels, (liberal, conservative, too right, too left, tea party...) just close your laptop and take a trip to Washington and walk around the city a little. You will be overwhelmed by federal building after building -- govt bureaucracies, red tape and lobbyists as far as the eye can see. No "informed voter" (LMAO) understands what these hundreds of thousands of people sucking trillions of tax dollars and millions more lost in productivity actually do. Hell, even the government recently admitted it has no clue how many redundant departments and agencies exist - almost all of which aren't even constitutional.

Is the rule of law also too radical a concept for you?

We do not need an army of bureaucrats in Washington dictating what happens in Kansas City or Tuscon. That is not how the system was set up and is supposed to work. The states created the federal government, not the other way around. This isn't the fucking Euroweenie Union, this is America, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS TOO FUCKING BIG!

The tea party is not the problem. Ted Cruz is not the problem. Cruz is a communist compared to what needs to be done.

Millions of ignorant sheep who vote for layer after layer of this illegal unproductive bullshit. Sheep are sheep - they can't think for themselves, they don't know what the fuck is going on, they simply trust what the Washington Cartel and Gaystream Media tell them:

Candidate A is too radical because the Washington Cartel said so. Candidate B is a 'moderate' because he never ruffles any feathers, never opposes any policies (good or bad)...therefore, he is perfectly electable and just what America needs. LMFAO!

Why do you suppose so many people across the ideological spectrum are losing faith in the government? Because it's too big and dysfunctional...and when it's too big and dysfunctional it becomes too intrusive...and when it becomes too intrusive it becomes hyper partisan...and when it becomes hyper partisan, you get G-R-I-D-L-O-C-K...and when you get gridlock, everyone starts hating every member in the other party without even knowing why. lol

What happened? How did we get here?

Progressivism happened. Progressivism can be boiled down to "uniformity and conformity." Remember all those buildings I mentioned? That's Progressivism, and how the people inside those buildings think.

It never works. Why? People are individuals, not machines. People will always have different dreams, different aspirations, different likes and dislikes, different pursuits, and different levels of motivation. Take away all of that and you extinguish the meaning of life: the human spirit (Live Free or Die)

You may be comfortable having the government run every aspect of your life (single payer? for real? :neenee:), I am not and never will be. Show me all the tainted blogger 'evidence'...I don't give a shit, I have relatives in Europe and know better, you don't. Your "small business" would crumble under European taxes, regulations and their good ol' government knows best ideology. You can scream how much better your Utopian collective system will be, I know it's political bullshit, and guess what? That is my constitutional right. Like I said, the more you push the government to intervene and disrupt our lives treating us like machines and taking away our freedom, choices and money, the more push back you're going to get. The more partisan and dysfunctional the system will become.

You can point fingers all day long, call the Ted Cruzes of the world 'stupid' and blame those pesky "right wingers" for gumming up your Utopian works and "not getting with the program". You will never gain a sympathetic ear to your cause, except for the ignorant sheep who think exactly like you do -- the ones who vote hard left year after year without even being able to name 5 govt bureaucracies.

No, Ted Cruz is not the problem, the man in the mirror is.

Ok...Nothing I could ever say could demonstrate how whacked you are better than what you just rambled on about. Then you go into this rant about "utopian" bullshit. Yeah Sheriff, ANYBODY who believes in a safety net for society is just some utopian fool that wants the govt to do EVERYTHING for them in life, right? Literally EVERYTHING. Sure dumbass...that's what we all want. That's how I built a business for my family. Because I think Soc Security is a good thing, I just sit around all day waiting for the Govt to help me. They just magically came along and handed it to me too...Dude....WTF is in the water where you live? PLEASE, just post the name of the state where you live so I can make sure I never move there. And because Soc Security exists, people no longer can have dreams or aspirations or motivation for anything. Yeah...sure thing moron....You are CERTIFIABLY INSANE.

While lots of people could agree with a very small part of that manifesto, mainly that the Fed Govt is too big in numerous areas, you are on a very LONELY island with the rest of that drivel. You have ONE single idea of how life should be. If it's isn't EXACTLY that way, well it HAS TO BE illegal by your interpretation, and it means that everyone who doesn't see things EXACTLY THAT WAY just wants the Govt to take care of "EVERYTHING" for them. That's the "all or nothing" ideology of a complete and utter fucking lunatic. It's also the ideology and actions of the tea party fucktards, who like you, are lunatics.

LIFE, not just Govt, DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY GENIUS! You must have very few if any REAL relationships with other human beings. I can't imagine anyone wanting to be around someone so deeply cynical and rigid in their views of the world and other people. Those of us who have functional relationships with family and friends understand that in relationships of ALL KINDS, including at work and yes in govt politics, you actually have to give and take, not just DEMAND and refuse to do anything.

The fact that you just said "Cruz is a communist compared to what needs to be done." shows that you are no conservative or republican at all. The truth is that you are an anarchist. You don't want limited or smaller govt. You want NO GOVT. Period. While lots of us would agree that the Fed Govt is too damn big, You will NEVER be happy with ANY sized Federal Govt will you Sheriff? You will ALWAYS find a reason to hate any and all Govt. THAT's the thought that's always lying right under the surface isn't it Sheriff? If only we had NO DAMN GOVT, life would be so much better...

That's not conservative. That's not republican. And it damn sure isn't American. Call yourself whatever you like, just stop saying American because you aren't even close to being one.

You can tell when libtards are really losing the debate. They go all personal on you and either panic and press the escape button, or channel Sam Kinison and completely nuke the discussion.

One minute I'm really, really[i/] lousy at relationships ("no give and take for selfish Joe" lol) next thing you know I'm an anarchist. My feewings are hurt now. Can you please stick to a subject?

Where did I say no government? Where? Show me?

I like my garbage pickup - and pay for it. I like fire, police, ambulance services - and pay for them. I like the roads, bridges and highways I drive on - and pay for them as well...all covered by local and state taxes. I'm not sure why we need the Post Office anymore when we have email and FedEx, but that's another discussion. By the way, did you read the part in bold - PAY FOR IT? That's the first problem we're going to have to deal with sooner or later - no more wealth redistribution.

In a civilized society, all levels of government have a role to play, to be sure...it's just that this corrupt, bloated Fedzilla you love so much is so out of control and has exceeded it's limited authority millions of times over.

No, you don't get to "vote your way" to Utopia...that is not how the system was set up to work.

Of course you pretend you're some "reasonable moderate" (independent lmao!) by saying the government is too big. Except you, everyone on the left and virtually everyone in Washington doesn't believe a word of that. It's all lip service and you know it. Because every time someone wants even the smallest cuts or closings, they're labeled "extremist" and unelectable political outcasts - like Ted Cruz. And morons like you nod in agreement not even knowing what the fuck you're nodding about.

Want proof?

Here's just a partial list of unconstitutional agencies. How do I know they're not constitutional? They're not listed in the Constitution (duh!)...because nobody bothered to go through the proper legal amendments. Anarchy he says...

Hey, don't take my word for it. Stop reading ignorant libtard blogs and go to Washington.

When you combine the official bureaucracy with all other over-compensated beneficiaries of Big Government, it's easy to understand why Washington, DC, is now the richest region of America, with 10 of the nation's richest counties.

How's THAT for spreading the wealth around?
"That's not conservative. That's not republican. And it damn sure isn't American." :pointer:

Idiot.

When members of the Washington Cartel are counting their millions, surely they have to be thinking of "independent" ignoramuses like VWJOE.

Shush()* don't wake him from his Utopian fantasies...better he think I'm an "anarchist" and Ted Cruz is some radical "extremist"

Radical left wing socialists broke the constitutional system and conservatives want to restore it. It really couldn't be simpler.

We will NEVER agree on anything because you don't believe in the rule of the law. For you, the altruistic ends always justify the means - at least that's what you keep telling yourself.

Nice definitions - #2 and #3 sound exactly like Saul Alinsky and the community organizer whose dick you just suck have to suck on a daily basis... dumbfuck.

"I'm an independent" LMFAO!

Are Democrats and Republicans talking about the same country?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...6de048-5e32-11e5-b38e-06883aacba64_story.html

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Answer: NO!

Republicans talk about protecting America from external threats like ISIS, Iran etc.

Democrats talk about protecting America from Christians, people who work for a living, racist cops and old white men.

So, no, we are not talking about the same country...not even close.

Good to see Donald Trump doubting the Kenyan's Christian faith and calling him a Muslim again, while openly questioning his nativity story. Speaking the truth is what real leaders do.

Suck on that, libtards! ^^:)

WVJoe I see what you are saying but we have clusterfucks all over the place in healthcare, higher ed, housing, etc because of gov't regulation/malinvestment.

These aren't fringe industries that deceleration or stagnation is just a minor problem, these are the most important industries we have.

The WVJOE's will never get it, but the people certainly do:

75% in U.S. See Widespread Government Corruption

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Three in four Americans (75%) last year perceived corruption as widespread in the country's government. This figure is up from two in three in 2007 (67%) and 2009 (66%).
