you are down 3-2 @ 1/2

you score a quick TD to go up 8-3. you kick the PAT to make it 9-3 instead of 10-3. ok - i can go for that

BUT

then you trail 10-9 and score a TD to go up 15-10 and ONCE AGAIN you KICK the PAT to make it 16-10 instead of going for 2 to try and put you up 17-10. scoring is a premium in this game so you MUST go for 2 to be up 7 for 6 is not enough to win by if ASU scores a TD

THIS i have a problem with - and for the record - i don't have any play on the game

he`s a poor coach...they were making big plays down the field...when they were behind.....

when they get a small lead, they start dinking and dunking.....qb draw plays....short outs.......

tiller is playing not to lose....and that`s usually the kiss of death...

he likes to run it up on the poorer teams...he gets scared in the close ones...

You think fat ass Joe wishes he had gone for 2 now? Behind 20-16, FG doesnt cut it. Hell, i played ASU thanks to a little advice from Prophetablepicks. He gave me a little advice about the backups for the Sun Devils. Joe Tiller has been out coached again. Go figure.

How about the 2 minute drill! 5 yard passes across the middle. This after surrendering a TD with a minute and a half left and AZ St. 80 yards from the end zone. Tiller sucks! The offensive game plan was vanilla less the vanilla flavoring!:WTF:

I mentioned earlier in another thread that Purdue plays with a very undersized defense. This works vs the weak teams but not the better teams. Tiller's lifetime record vs Ohio St, Michigan, and Wisconsin is something like 3-18-1. Purdue is like Minnesotta in the Big 10. Most of the time they beat up on the cupcakes then face the above mentioned teams and usually lose to all of them. What's even sadder is that Purdue lost that game to the 2nd string qb and 4th string running back I believe.

Tiller is an idiot. 1st and goal at the end of the game and I have no clue why he didnt run the clock down low enough as to where either they win the game or lose and ASU has no time left to do anything with the ball. ASU had 2 timeouts still when they scored.

That was complete ass=backwards coaching at the end of the game like you say - they could have worked the clock - why were they in such a rush to score and give the ball back to ASU? Especially when they got inside the 10 yard line they could have at least burned some clock to force ASU to use their time outs.

ASU 's TD drive was ridiculous - PU defense barely touched them the whole way. They gor fooled on that same screen pass earlier. Pathetic.

And then when PU got the ball back with 40 some seconds left they are throwing 5 and 10 yard passes like they have a ton of time - that is what they could have done after the blocked punt when they had almost 2 minutes to go 35 yards
