What a hypocritical elitist asshole.

I'm rich as hell but my son was born with a heart condition and I want someone else to pay for it!

Half the population doesn't even pay taxes and ignorant libtards like Jimmy want to FORCE the other half currently hauling the freight to bear an even greater burden.

Liberals broke, literally broke, the healthcare marketplace decades ago...but this time it'll be different.

Fraud.

Not the topic of the thread. But what else would we expect from you, who walks around without a clue about anything.

Not even close to what he said or believes.

Sure he doesn't.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kimmel offered a suggestion for his namesake test. “The Jimmy Kimmel test, I think should be, no family should be denied medical care, emergency or otherwise, because they can’t afford it,” he said, as the audience cheered again. “Can that be the Jimmy Kimmel test? As simple as that? Is that oversimplifying it?”

“You’re on the right track,” Cassidy assured him. “And if that’s as close as we get, that works great in government. Now we gotta be able to pay for it, and that’s the challenge, so all those middle class families right now…we have to make it affordable for them, too.”

“I can think of a way to pay for it is don’t give a huge tax cut to millionaires like me and instead, leave it how it is. I mean, that would be one way,” Kimmel offered.

“That’s my vote.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey, lets restructure and reorganize a 3 trillion industry, negotiated by a bunch of corrupt government power brokers in a far distant capital based on "The Jimmy Kimmel test"

What could possibly go wrong!

Jimmy, like most people, evidently doesn't know Obamacare has hurt more people than it helped. There are winners, but there are far more losers.

The losers are all the people that had quality employer plans but have now lost them. The losers now pay significantly more in premiums, the losers now have significantly higher deductibles, the losers no longer have coverage for procedures that were once covered. The biggest losers have suffered from all of the above, just like Bill Clinton said during the 2016 campaign.

And Jimmy, while some people have been saved, and your son is not one of them BTW, other people will suffer and die. People are choosing to not go for medical procedures that may actually save their lives, because they don't want to or can't pay for them.

That's reality, that's the story the complicit media won't tell you, that's why I laugh at the stupid arguments like Jimmy Kimmel's

I wish no harm on anyone, I'm happy for those who benefited. But many more are suffering. The fucktards think they get to choose the winners and the losers, and that we should be happy despite being fucked bigly. Just as stupid and clueless as it gets

He's making an emotional plea to take care of our own, but once you ask him what that entails, it's basically just government run healthcare.

You would think one person out of the 329842604690469980 that weigh in on this would possibly ask "Why does an MRI cost more than a car?" but you can get a meal for $2 bucks.

He'll likely get his wish sooner than later though.

And "take care of our own" includes welfare recipients who refuse to work, people who pay ZERO taxes, "middle class" families who choose to live beyond their means, and of course, illegal aliens (lawbreaking non-Americans - another problem the government can't/won't solve).

Okay, Jimmy, okay...now go back to your gated mansion and do what you do best - making the vitturds and the goosers of the world laugh because they actually believe the same crap you do!

New Hospital Out-of-Pocket Policies Reveal How Obamacare Pinches the Poor

http://www.maciverinstitute.com/201...licies-reveal-how-obamacare-pinches-the-poor/

Under Obamacare, out-of-pocket costs have increased dramatically. A MacIver Institute analysis last year found the deductibles in Wisconsin for a bronze plan ranged from $3,000 - $6,850 for an individual and $6,000 - $13,700 for a family.

Max-out-of-pocket costs ranged from $6,000 - $6,850 for an individual and $12,000 - $13,700, according to data from the Department of Health and Human Services.

We were promised no family making less than $250,000 would see a tax hike. In reality, Obamacare saddles the middle class with 18 tax hikes, penalties, and fees.

We were promised by the President, "I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits, either now or in the future." In reality, Obamacare's costs have already become unsustainable. He promised the cost curve of healthcare would bend down; it's done the opposite. He promised to protect Medicare; Obamacare explicitly cuts Medicare. He promised his law would cover every American; millions remain uninsured.

Finally, we were promised Obamacare "means more choice, more competition, lower costs for millions of Americans." The opposite is happening. Despite steep price increases, insurers are suffering losses in Obamacare markets so massive they're in full retreat, reducing competition and choice across the country.

Kimmel is a piece of shit

Yes, he is. Not because of his misguided plea for government-run healthcare but because of the way he decided to go about it - by getting highly personal and nasty toward Newt Gingrich.

Hopefully his ratings tank!

I wonder what Kimmel thinks of health insurance companies' profits soaring from $6 billion before the ACA to $15 billion afterwards. That's $9 billion that hard working taxpayers are forced, by law, to give them, every year instead of keeping for or spending on themselves. Money those companies greedily vacuum up and lavish on their executives, employees, and shareholders instead of, you know, maybe helping drive down costs of those with pre-existing conditions. Is it the Republican's fault those insurance companies are legally ripping off Americans every single year? Is it their fault those CEOs pay has skyrocketed? Is it their fault the insurance companies were allowed to help write the law and not them? I don't remember any Republicans voting for this giant insurance scam that has been forced upon us. Kimmel is just pandering to the idiots who watch his show, people too dumb to understand they're being fleeced.
