First Lady Jill Biden was torched online after claiming her husband, Joe Biden, “works hard every day” despite being on vacation for over 40% of his presidency.
“I think what people don’t see is how hard Joe works every single day!” the First Lady told MSNBC.
“That he gets up thinking what he can do for the American people,” she added
However, Jill’s claims are verifiably untrue.
As we reported in July, Joe already spent 353 days — 39.2 percent of his presidency – on vacation, according to statistics compiled by RNC Research.
Despite the U.S. economy being in turmoil, with an unprecedented crisis at the southern border, Joe jets off frequently to his holiday home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The New York Post reported, “Biden has spent all or part of 382 of his presidency’s 957 days – or 40% — on personal overnight trips away from the White House, putting him on pace to become America’s most idle commander-in-chief.”
In August 2022, Biden spent a record 150 days on vacation during his presidency at home in Delaware in the 18 months he took the White House.
In 2021, he spent weeks at Camp David as the world watched Kabul, Afghanistan, fall to the Taliban due to his disastrous decision to pull out U.S. troops.
Tom Fitton, president of conservative transparency group Judicial Watch, commented last year:
“One would hope that President Biden is working when he is on ‘vacation’ in Delaware, [but] the unwillingness of the White House to disclose his official visitors at Delaware suggests that there is something to hide — including that Biden is completely checked out from his job when away from the White House.”
Regarding Jill Biden’s claims, users on X were quick to point out the obvious: She tells larger lies than Joe!
