Sick as it is... I have Wisconsin winning this matchup. *BUT* For FSU backers, if you jump out to a quick lead--I'm not sure the badgers can make a comeback with their style of play.

58-64 Badgers win is my guess.

No way. I've seen both these teams. Badgers are terrible. FSU is legit. Toney has a night and FSU wins by DD.

I also have ARIZONA ST who I personally think is garbage... but they advance kinda far lol.

Here's my bracket, dunno how good it is. I know Lawson is hurt and the #'s are with Lawson healthy.

Criticize all you want lol... I don't really care it's just how the #'s came out. My sheets only been 73% or so cuz there's been a lot of upsets and it didn't pick those... it has chosen a few correct upsets also.

Yes I know FSU is legit... I had them going up vs UNC but losing... I guarantee if Lawson played UNC would have won by 7+. I *HATE* Wisconsin but that's just how the #'s rolled out.

Well, good luck to you. I think that both Clemson and FSU get it done in the first round, I can be wrong... actually, the only ACC teams I can see losing in the first round are Maryland, BC, and Clemson.

That Clemson game is a toss-up I've seen CLEM screw up games when they should have coasted to a victory (pre-game). I wanted a decent upset and not a vanilla higher ranking team advancing and MICH is about the same in "toss-up-ness" with Clemson so I chose that upset.

I really liked Clemson this year but a few times I bet them I got hammered down pretty bad.

i give maryland a legit shot at the sweet 16...eg. beating cal, and memphis....if memphis played in a decent conference, i think they'd get shit on. just my opinion!! and i like FSU :p good luck jetty

Marylands D is better than Cal... I can give it that and they are a team that is currently on-fire minus the last game, but you can't expect it to go on forever. They do have a chance at beating Cal but I don't give them a very big chance vs Memphis if they get to advance.

I did really well in the Conference Tournaments this year even tho I only posted 4 plays or so. I had a 3 teamer I was thinking about today but I was too scared to bet cuz I had just won a few parlays recently and didn't want to give any back. I thought OHIO ST would win SU today but they got blown up in the 2H... still had a miracle cover in the end--but still didn't bet it.

I like in-conference games and especially games that are back to back cuz I do look into substitutions and minutes played by players in conjuction with their effeciency while on the court. I think I have a good feel for when teams play other teams frequently as opposed to out-of-conference games where the gameplans can be very different and I can only guess at how the teams are going to go against each other. Not to mention the luck each team has on offensive/defensive effeciencies when they are at home/road/nuetral.

Goodluck on your bracket and thanks for stopping by!

Psssst, after I ditched Clemson as a favorite darkhorse--I moved to Maryland about 3 weeks ago lol. This bracket is PURELY based on my sheet except the Michigan game. Even if the team is only favored to win by .08 points I still put them advancing to the next round. I don't remember which games were that close though.

maybe i'm just riding the high horse of maryland right now...i think they have a great shot over cal, and if it comes to it i guess emotionally i just think i'd like to see them close out memphis as well lol. i think memphis is extremely overrated. maryland will certainly be getting my value on ATS plays for the time that they're in!@)

I think I would play MD ATS vs CAL... and if they end up winning... ATS vs MEM also. I know ppl think MEMPHIS is overrated but they are basically the USC football team in a basketball situation. They are surrounded by bad teams and can't do much about it--all they can do is play it out. I can say that if they played in the ACC or Big East they would probably lose an additional 4 or 5 games a season and not look like they have a padded record but they are still a pretty good team and they have an easy road (like USC football) except for a few tough bumps they run into. This tournament is no different for them.

This is how I ended up on the season before the tourney. I'm a $100 bettor.

Large Plays 2-1 +$450 (5 Units)
Normal Plays 19-10 +$2400 (3 Units)
Small Plays 10-15 -$650 (1 Unit)

TOTAL: 31-26 +$2200 using strength of bets
Leans 25-16 (61%)
ML Leans 86-31 (74%)

Wisconsin could make some noise. FSU is not going to like the style Wisconsin plays, much like when they got beat by Northwestern earlier in the year. Wisconsin has a deeper team than most know and their starting five is strong at all positions. I would hate winning the ACC and get rewarded with having to play Wisconsin in the 1st round.

FSU will not get transition buckets that are so easy to come by in the ACC.

I think another edge the badgers may have is that this game tips at 9pm et. FSU hasn't been to the tourney in a few years, has all day to sit and watch teams get knocked off and then go face a grind it out team like wisconsin. FSU definately has the talent edge, but badgers seem to have some intangibles working in their favor

FSU is too big and too athletic up front for the Badgers. FSU will dominate the glass, and Tone Douglas will do his thing in the back court. Just a really bad match up for Wisconsin imo

All I can hope for is for Douglass to stink it up... they are a 1.5 man team imo but overall they have speed... I just don't think speed alone is going to win this game because none of them (imo) can really shoot the ball xcept Douglass.

I think Wisconsin is the best first round play. Wisconsin has been falling short all season, but if the put it together, they can be in the sweet 16.

Yeah, Xavier is an interesting matchup for them... the #'s said XAVIER but I think realistically WISCY would win that matchup. Who knows... maybe Xavier will wake up when the time counts though, we can't count out motivation.

Wisconsin has been coming up short all year, FSU lacks depth and is sort of a 1 man team but IMO their a team with more of a "group" feeling who play for each other and that should be enough.

Agree with every word. If you want a team that is emotionally invested to playing in the big dance this year--it's FSU.
