Had knee surgery earlier in the week. Told someone at the team facility he didnt feel and Collapsed on the way to his car.

Kersey underwent a knee surgery earlier this week and Wednesday reportedly told fellow Trail Blazer employees at the team's Rose Quarter office that he wasn't feeling well and was going to go home. He apparently collapsed on the way to his car. Cause of death is unknown at the time this is written.

Kersey was part of a great starting 5 in the 90's with the Blazers... went to 2 NBA finals... Duckworth passed away a few years ago also.. Drexler, Porter, and Williams were the other starters...fun team to watch..
