With his 350 yard drives and chipshots to the greens Holmes definitely has a good chance. Robert Karlson also has some game....He's the only golfer who has finished in the top 10 in every major this year.
This isn't the Phoenix Open(his two wins). His best finish in a major is 25th. Who knows, maybe he will overpower this course(Oakland Hills) like Daly did at Cooked Stick in 1991.
It looks pretty wide open to me..Last years U.S Open winner Angel Cabrerra is just a couple strokes off the lead...He plays pretty good on these hard setup courses.
