Friendly words of advice: Nothing is a lock, in the sports world. $1000 down to win $300, is a catastrophe waiting to happen. $500 down to win $150 is no better. What you stand to gain, is simply not worth the risk, imo. And I say this, even though I am also confident that the Jazz win SU tonight. Many years back, it is these types of bets (with no value) that led me, to totally transform the way that I wager, and incorporate value as an integral part of the screening process when deciding on games. Once upon a very long time ago, I placed a wager on a -340 ML in baseball, where I was backing the team's best pitcher, who was also the hottest in baseball, against a squad that was arguably the worst in baseball at the time. Needless to say they ended up losing, and I never forgave myself for the loss. An expensive lesson to say the least. Although, that was a very long time ago, I have never made that type of a bet since. Now, I stand by the slogan, "No Value = No Play", no matter the circumstances surrounding the event. GL with whatever you decide.
