After Saturday's meeting, Cutler feels Josh McDaniels, "Made it clear he wants his own guy (at QB)," and didn't apologize for going after Matt Cassel. "How can I trust him now?" Cutler asked. Cutler said he'll attend mandatory offseason work if he stays on the roster, but believes that "Really, it's best for me to move on." McDaniels disagrees with Cutler's interpretations, and the Broncos remain outwardly steadfast that Cutler will not be traded.

Josh M's comment makes a 3 way deal seem more likely; Garcia could still be signed for a year or two and Leftwich is still available although likely to expensive;
whether or not the Broncs would want a cleveland qb we shall see; i think the broncs would love to dump cutler to a team like detroit and if detroit could ship some picks to cleveland on a three way it might get interesting

cutler is due a 4 mill roster bonus from denver in spring of 2010; cassel only has a one year deal with kc; so in reality denver isn't overly pressed to field a (bad) offer this year if they really intend to try to sign cassell after his one year stint in kc;

This thing will probably fizzle out. This seems to happen every year.

The bottom line is Denver can just wait it out for Cutler to get tired of being fined for not showing up. Also mention to him he is breaching his contract and go after bonus money. Done deal.

Does anyone else think Cutler is just being a bitch? It's a damn business.. Get over it...

The news station posted a similar story earlier in the week, but took it down and tweaked it before re-posting. The source, which FOX admits is shaky, alleges that Josh McDaniels was willing to deal Cutler due to "concerns about Cutler's alcohol consumption (given his diabetes)" and because he's "not that (football) sharp." The information here is dubious, but this could upset the Cutler applecart again. March 27
