Said Deron Williams would be the 10th best player in the ACC. STFU you cocky, ACC-loving fool. He'll be at that ass-whooping the Illini are gonna put on Wake. And he will not get a friendly greeting.

Saying he would be the 10th best player in the ACC is a deliberate jab at the Big Ten, and is simply a ridiculous thing to say. You wouldn't say that if you didn't have an agenda.

Deron Williams is among the top 10 players in the nation, let alone the ACC. He's got a good shot at being 1st team All-American. If Bilas said that then he is a fool.

Oh, and Illinois wins 84-70.

Assembly Hall is going to be rocking tomorrow night. Surely there's some pre-exam anxiety to be worked off good.

I have a feeling by the end of the night Bilas will have his mind changed. Williams will score 25+ and be the best player on the court.

I really don't think the game will be close tomorrow, Illinois should dictate this from the forward position. The battle will be at the guard position where Justin Gray is a good scorer and Chris Paul is the playmaker however Illini has one of the few backcourts that can play with these two. In addition I think Chris Paul is way overrated and is like the 6th best guard in the ACC.

I am all over Illinois- my biggest college basketball bet of the year.

Bilas is a Dookie and he probably just said it so the Illini would get fired up and beat Wake, who coincidentally is rated higher than Duke.

Maybe it's an anti-Wake, pro-Duke agenda as opposed to anti-Big Ten. Either way it's a dumb statement.

BTW, you should all hope kids grow up to be like Chris Paul. He's a class act and a family guy. Even if he's not the best player, you should still be rooting for him over some of the thugs and punks out there.:suomi:

I'm all over my Illini! I have to be, as much as I'm gonna have to pay to get in. I will take ML, simply because I hate rooting for my teams to cover a spread. Just win, baby!

GO ILLINI
Correction...

Illinois has made a habit of winning at home. The Illini have beaten 34 straight nonconference opponents in Champaign, and are 66-3 at Assembly Hall since the 2000-2001 season.

I'm trying to think of the losses....Mich St in Jan, 2002, and Purdue in Jan, 2004. Bill Self only had one loss, right?

Buzz-Bill Selfish went to Kansas, cause he thought the grass was greener over there, I guess. I know he'd never admit it, but I bet he has some regrets over leaving. He was god here, and everyone loved him. And he was on his way to having the Illini basketball court named after him, even though he was only here 3 years. People were so crushed when he left, but Weber is more than capable of bringing home a national title. It may even happen this year! I like Weber a lot, I've actually talked to him on a business call before and he was very friendly. I knew it was him right away by his voice, and it made his day that I knew that. Humble guy, good coach. Go Illini!
