I know hindsight is 20/20 here, but Texans had too many key injuries going into this game. TJ Yates is not an upgrade from Savage imo despite what some people/stats may say. TJ Yates put up fair numbers because we would bring him in at the end up the game when we were behind and he would play against a tired or second string defense when the game was lost and/or he had zero pressure on him. Now he gets the start against a good defense and you see why Yates never starts. There's really not much else to say. Bill O'Brien put up good numbers in Houston, record wise, despite not having a QB because our defense has always carried both our offense and our coaching. Just my opinion, but when we were doing well it was much more because of DeShaun Watson and less because O'Briens QB coaching ability. He's ran through something like 12 different STARTING quarterbacks and couldn't get it going until he got a phenom who could work around having no offensive line (Thank our GM Rick Smith).
