Always been a big fan of Penn State for all they stand for in football history and higher learning, and I have always been a big fan of Joe Paterno and all of his contributions to football, but the man is closing in on 82, and facing major hip surgery, hell, he can't even roam the sidelines anymore.

Joe, you are undefeated this season, you have nothing, and I mean nothing left to prove, you are in Bear Bryant status as far as legends go, please step down at the end of this brilliant season.

You don't get it, footbal is Joe Pa's life, it's his calling, his passion, all time win record is not the driving force for staying in the game, his love of the game is.

Bowden and Paterno are best friends.. JoePa has said repeatedly he doesn't care who ends up with the most, he just would like to get to 400.
