Don't know about the others but the Islamics simply don't have the firepower to be a real strategic threat.
They knock down 2 tall buildings and kill 3000 people, plus various other strategic pinpricks.
In response 'we' knock down 2 entire countries of 25 million people each in about 50 days.
Trying to actually run those places for the 14 months afterwards created more casualties than the invasions themselves.
As far as a SERIOUS threat is concerned, they don't rate.

It was a pin prick when they were hijacking planes and cruise ships - when they flew Jets into the twin towers, shut down the airlines, and hurt the American economy to the sum of several billion $, it became something very serious.

Shiites and Sunnis are like Catholics and Protestants, the Saudies/Iranians etc have their own 'systems' too.
To lump all christians/islamics into the exact same group ignores the rivalries and differences that exist between them.
The main sticking point for the US is Israel, ALL islamics don't like Israel.

Whatever islamic type they are: Catholic/Protestant/GreekOrthodox/Methodists/Baptists/presbyterians or whatever....they all hate Israel.

I think you guys just don't understand Islam and the Middle East. There is only a small percentage that feel they should take the jihad elsewhere. The vast majority don't care what religion or what lifestyle others have, they just want their own to improve. Can you blame them?

The US economy over the last 100 years has been good, but I don't know if it is on a percentage basis the best ever. Just look at South Korea in the 50s and compare it to today. In 50 years they went from a state of affairs comparable to many African nations now and have made themselves into an almost fully industrialized power with a GDP per capita not all that far below ours. I would have to guess on an annualized basis they, Taiwan, and Japan have far surpassed our growth.

And your proof of this Game? Islam didn't conquer much of Russia, none of the Western Hemisphere, none of Australia or East Asia north of Indochina. Islam didn't even conquer half of Europe. Where do you get such statistics?

Islam conquered 2/3 of the world by 732. Islam means submit and that's exactly what they plan. There is currently 15 active conflicts in the world and every single one of them involve radical muslims that cannot get along with their neighbor. You can ignore all of this, but it doesn't make it untrue or go away.
