well, the card sucks, but the weather has given us a brief reprieve for a day or so.

r1: mr artax. short field, but with the rail, belbart taking all the early money, 2/1 is a fair price on this improving son of artax

well, grabbed a winner, although he was bet down to 8/5 at the last minute. on to race 2

r2: wayward storm. love the fact he's already won routing over the surface and think the favorite, distorted is way overbet as i wagered some cash on him last time nad he could not have run any worse nor any less like a horse who wants no part of two turning.

standing tall certainly has a shot at a level he's run well at previously. he's currently 2/1, so no great shakes on the tote board; i think orang'em is the most likely winner, but i'm not in the profession of gambling on broken down 10k claimers...

glad to hear you cashed. the rest of the card is rather pitiful- i am looking at a possibility in the 8th, #8 choice action. his trainer is abysmal but so is this field and i'm fairly certain he'll be north of the 4/1 morning line.

your right , some slim pickins.....................gonna play RANSOM DEMANDED in the 7th as he has shown staedy improvement w/ each start and should get some pace to chase ........Hopefully he'll be somewhere around 7-1 ......gl the rest of the day , time to cap tomorrows carryover at AQUEDUCT !!!!!

jimmy, just got around to checking the results. great call on ranson demanded, who was a massive overlay at 8.5/1. good luck with the pick-6 at the Big-A tomorrow. i'm a very avid pick-6 player, but stick to my home tracks in so cal.
