Gaza rocket lands on house in Israel, two injured

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - A rocket fired by militants in the Gaza Strip hit a house in the Israeli town of Sderot on Tuesday, causing at least two injuries, Israeli emergency services said.

The armed wing of the ruling Hamas movement said it had fired several rockets at Sderot to mark the "Nakba," an annual day of national reflection over shared suffering in the conflict with Israel.

Hamas's armed wing said the rocket attack was also designed to shift the focus to Israel after days of deadly factional fighting in Gaza between Hamas and President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah faction.

Israeli ambulance workers said one of the injured was in serious condition.

The Islamofacist crowd and young American leftists have the same mindset, except the Islamofacists have taken up arms, and the young Americans haven't. Europe has an interesting situation going on which is getting quite serious...young multi-culturaled anarchists are aligning themselves and beginning to cooperate with Islamofacists, as they both see "the system" as their enemy in common. Empowered by their new laws which are tough on terrorism, German police just kicked the doors in on a few groups that they found out were planning disruptions for an economic summit being held there next month.

Good points, AL...

A couple observations:

First, there are quite a few "anti-American leftists" in this forum who share the same mindset. Witness the surveys of who is a greater threat to world peace: George Bush or Ahmadinejad. (Crazy mofos!)

The Ted Kennedys and John Kerrys and Martha Murthas have always been part of the far left defeatist landscape but the difference is today, the Howard Dean fringe have become the mainstream -- thanks in large part to big pocketed SP ideologues like George "I-Own-the-Democrat-Party" Soros, and his network of disinformation sheeple.

This is why the country is so polarized. There just aren't enough sincere patriotic Evan Bahys and George Liebermans in that party we can reach out to in good faith, in order to bridge the divide. This why the country needs another "great communicator" to unite the sane mainstream majority. The Moveon.org moonbats and the conspiracy kooks BASEHEAD is always locking horns with are not remotely sane or rational.

Second, I imagine the war against global Jihadism like...well....

Imagine if the leaders of those turf wars in East LA got ambitious and decided to expand their 'grievances' and hatred into the peaceful middle class suburbs of Los Angeles as well as affluent areas of Beverly Hills and Palm Springs? Imagine if drive-bys became the norm on Rodeo Drive? There would be hell to pay on a scale previously unseen. Civilization wouldn't respond very 'civilly.'

That's how I see the global "War on Terror." It's one thing if gangs are destroying their neck of the woods with AK-47s, quite another if some of them are becoming a little too ballsy expanding the landscape of violence -- not to mention, assembling a R&D team working on weapons of mass destruction...

As you say, in Europe or here at home, it's order vs. chaos; anarchy vs civilization.
