The hope part was a play on words from the campaign. I don’t think BO will have enough time to destroy the country. 2010 will see a shift with many incumbents losing. That will even the playing field a bit. BO has been in office for what 5 months and his honeymoon is starting to end already. His poll numbers are starting to drop and he’s getting some resistance from his own party. If public opinion gets worse the media that loves him so much now will turn on him like a women scorned. He screwed up with to much to fast. His programs, much like himself are unsustainable.

Charm and charisma only gets you so far. You are still expected to produce results.

To set the record straight, I believe the USA will survive despite the president. The country survived Carter, it will survive BO.

In what world could a president conclude that the right thing to do is wait out the events in Iran and deal with the winners? The official policy of the US toward Iran should be regime change, and Obama should be stressing that instead of waiting, standing up for a population that yearns to live freely.

The Iranian thugocracy has revealed itself to be even worse than we even imagined. They are going to blame the US if we do nothing. Or if we do everything to see that it's overthrown. Fuck this "FOIL" shit Obama speaks of!

Obama is delusional if he thinks he's going to somehow convince this sham of a government to negotiate away its nuclear program, when that's what fuels their very existence. And in his remarks today he used the oxymoron "Islamic Republic." By definition there can be no such thing!

There will never be peace in any part of the ME if this regime is not removed. Obama should stop stammering and just state it, frankly and flatly, and show the world his balls instead of his ass. Instead he sits back hoping for a change.
