This is my last thread on this. I just want to understand if this is what officially happened?

* Refs on field called a TD.
* Booth signaled for a replay.
* Refs looked at replay and they came back and said TD was good. They line up for the XP, then the refs decide on the field to change the call even though replay said TD was good.

Is that the correct version or did I miss something here?

Yes that's the way I saw it! I haven't said much about this but you are right, wolf. Anyone who is disagreeing with you can kiss my a** too. We got screwed and how many other times that we don't know about? It seems like people don't care and now even when it's obvious, no one is doing anything about it! F**K the NFL!

wolf - yes that is correct. that's why this game was so fucked up. and yes games in college and nfl are set up sometimes. no i didn't say all games, but some games are. i have knowledge of this, but no point in explaining here because everyone will say i'm full of shit and the guy i talked to may have been full of shit, but he is a friend of mine and worked for an nfl organization. whatch for games toward the end of season especially stl, det, and crap teams that give up. they are giving up but they give up for a reason and that reason is extra money. the nfl doesn't fix games but there is big money that gets to players, coaches, coordinaters and so on.

i remember a monday or sunday night game a couple of weeks ago with pittsburgh and it went into overtime. the ref did the coin toss and the coin never flipped it stayed flat the whole time. and you could see the expression on hines ward's face like he couldn't believe it and kind of laughed about it and looked around at everybody like he couldn't believe what was going on. and nothing was ever said. my dvr is loaded with shit like this i have recorded. all you can do is hope you are on the right side. always look at percentages when you bet. this can be a very helpful tool especially in reverse line movement.

Thats how it happened.

Now explain to me how this game was not rigged ? If the refs getting together can change the call made from the booth, and the league comes back with a "they screwed up" and people have to live with it line, who's to say that this hasnt happend before or will again ?

Money does crazy shit to people.

The booth doesnt review anything. They call for it, but the refs watch the replay like a normal challenge.

After the review they said it was a forward lateral, but that it was declined. Then one of the refs thought the game ended because it would have had the "forward" lateral hit the ground, which it did not.

I have never ever ever ever seen the officials call a play, review it, let the call stand, then talk about it on the field after replay and decide to change it themselves. I bet 90% of the people arguing against the game being fixed werent even aware that this is how things transpired. I wasnt even sure myself becasue CBS didnt really cover what was going on.

Should say "booth review" above
