I was thinking the same thing. I'm on Kansas State, and I have not seen one poster/capper either here at the RX or other noteworthy forums on Southern Mississippi! :scared1:

I handicapped this game with my ratings.. Here's my numbers on this game..

Southern Miss
18 - Alabama St.
15 - Miami FL
20 - La Salle
18 - Iona
16 - South Alabama
17 - New Mexico

Kansas St.
13 - Florida A&M
19 - SE Missouri St.
14 - Cleveland St.
15 - Oakland
10 - Kentucky
17 - Iowa
17 - Oregon

Kinda liked both these patterns.. So Miss is consistant range, could pop anything here between 14 and 18. I like Kansas St's upper-range pairup heading into this one. I think they have a 13 or 14 here.

At Kansas St. -6.5, I thought it could go either way. I passed. Sharp line IMO. Certaintly not out of the realm of possibility Southern Miss pulling it out. They have competitive numbers with that point spread.

I actually like both and am on both small. Southern Miss is probably a better team than Kansas St this year, but we'll find out tonight.
