check out some of the other posters' threads. a lot of guys who know what they're talking about are on the Vikes. I'm personally on the saints but not happy that a couple good posters are on the other side...

It's more like every poster is on the VIKES today.

I think the public wins this one today with NO winning by a TD or more. Best thing to do is watch from the sidelines and wait for a half time play.

The saints are playing their second game in 2 weeks at home, The vikes their second strait road game.
The Sanits have a huge edge at both QB and coaching
With a little luck Saints could have been undefeted this season giving us a line value in their losses.

Given all that I find it strange that on a netral feild the Vages is saying both their teams are equal and hanging a -3 for the home feild advantage.

7 point Teaser

Football - 431 Minnesota Vikings/New Orleans Saints over 40 for Game
Football - 432 New Orleans Saints +4 for Game

line is only 3 for a reason
vikes need this game more than the saints
vikes defense is better than saints defense
if, big IF, gus is on, the vikes will put enough points up to win the game.

smartmoneyfollower you should never tease a side across the number 0

you also have to take into consideration that new orleans running game has lacked consistency this season. against average defenses they can get away with this, but minnesota should pretty much shut down any type of run offense NO puts out there. that being said, brees will be forced to throw in basically every situation. however, it doesn't seem that minnesota's pass defense has improved much from last year. i also recall new england calling 21 throwing plays IN A ROW last year against minnesota, where brady completed 19 of those. should be a very interesting matchup, but i will go with the team who can run the ball effectively.

Saints In Primetime Usually Play Extremely Well. Remember Kitrina

Remember last year on MNF at home against Tennessee???

Go Vikes.
Peterson & the Defense bound to do something right.
So why not tonite.

Because in the last 2 week the Saints have become a very good unit at stopping the run , and will be even better playing their secind game in a row at home.

the Saints have alowed 5.2 ypc on the ground and that is exactly what the Vikes like to do...pound the ball. NO will definitely clamp because of the Vikes week passing game..but i think they are better then that and wil hold peterson ro short yardage,

What I don't understand is what all the hype about New Orleans tonight is?

Let's see. Minnesota had the Colts beaten a few weeks ago, they also outyarded Tennessee big time in their game last week but lost the turnover battle and got blown out.

Question for you Saints backers, how do your boys stop AP tonight? The Saints run defense is shit and Peterson should rush for 150+ yards easy in this game like he did against the Colts. All the Vikings have to do is keep it on the ground, eat the clock and win the game.

New Orleans offense is good but the Vikings defense is a risk-reward type of defense that takes enough risks that they come up with turnovers of their own. Vikings have the much better defense.

Don't forget this is played on turf and Minny loves playing on turf.

So no this line looks just fine. Only reason Saints are favored is because they are at home.

if you think for one second Peterson is being held to short yardage tonight, on turf, in a dome, you are out of whack.

MistaFlava,

Agree with some of your points but the different to me is a balanced offense for the saints compared to a one-dimensional game for the Vikes. I see a high scoring game with the saints winning by 7-10 due to a weak Vikes secondary. Just my two cents.

Vikes will fall behind in this game and be forced to pass

I got the best NFL systems known to man. Saints win it by at least 4 points. I predict 13-17.

Saints look like they found a few holes in the Vikes pass defence
