supposed to be snowing all day in buffalo...figures for a wet, muddy field. 60% chance of snow at kickoff, downgraded to 30-50% throughout the game. do i see two teams struggling to move the ball? or do i see short checkdowns chewing up the field. discuss

astro turf gets muddy?

the snow may have a lesser effect depending on how bad it is if they have the heating coils underneath. it's the WIND that could be the big issue.

i think its very feasible:

CLE defense last 2:
DEN: 564 offensive yds. 16.5 yds/pt
BAL: 429 offensive yds. 11.59 yds./pt

BUF defense last 2:
NE: 370 offensive yds. 18.5 yds./pt
NYJ: 297 offensive yds. 11.4 yds./pt

snow is the only thing that would kill it.

Not even considering the weather, I like the Under.

The big stat is that BOTH teams rank in the bottom tier when it comes to scoring TD's in the Red Zone. The Browns & the Bills have been in the RZ more than 26 times but score TD's only 46% of the time. After 9 games that is an average of just 1+ TD per game.

And then there is this:

=>Play Under - Any team against the total (CLEVELAND) - after being outgained by 100 or more total yds 2 consecutive games against opponent after being outgained by 150+ total yards in their previous game.
(34-11 since 1983.) (75.6%, +21.9 units. Rating = 2*)

The situation's record this season is: (0-0).
Over the last 3 seasons the situation's record is: (2-0).
Over the last 5 seasons the situation's record is: (9-0).
Over the last 10 seasons the situation's record is: (17-0).

i'm going to be playing a 10.5pt teaser...you think i should tease up to 50.5, or down to 29.5?

last few times i've teased an under i still got burned, damn it lol

29.5 is very LOW... initially i would lean towards the under here but in a teaser i like the 29.5... think you will see time consuming drives, TO's and special teams miscues.

i havent bet a game over all year........ but i kinda like this one over......... the weather will not be bad enough to effect the offenses, but rather i think it will effect the defenses reaction time........... if its just a little cold and wet, advantage offense
i live just a ways from the stadium, its not even that bad

UNDER will be the play here...

Bills D will hold against Quinn and company. Just don't see that they will score bunch of points here.

I see this game as a low scoring just like the Steelers/San Diego game.

really? see i think the opposite...i mean the under may be the correct play, but it's not going to be like SD\Pit in my opinion...different surface, kicking field goals at heinz field is no easy task (two missed)...steeler's defense is unreal. too many penalties preventing scores. bills\cleveland...doesn't figure to be a defensive showdown.

i mean...over 29.5? that seems pretty feasable to me...however, so does 50.5 and under haha

Turnovers and short fields can change the complexion and score of any game. Don't see the weather being the controlling factor tonight. Light snow with mild winds.

that makes my over 29.5 probable play a little more friendly...the wind shouldn't be a big factor at all. the snow probably won't even lay. like the guy up there said, if they have the heating coils on then i don't see weather being a problem at all. for this reason, i certainly like the over 29.5
