Who thinks that this game is real. It appears that the games are fixed on a regular basis! Comments?

Be realistic. Who is "fixing" the games and why?? There are too many people involved in football to "fix" a game.

First of all tonights ne/den game was of the smartest moves i have seen by a coach. Bill Belichick's decision on the safety call was by the book. As much as i hate ne only because i took cle in my suicide pool and ne beat cle, but besides that in no way was this game fixed. For anyone out there that thought ne would be better of punting instead of taking the safety let's see what the scenario would be like. Ne is on their own 1 yard line on fourth and 1 ne punts the ball. Den returns the ball with decent field position. Now Den has the ball with better position then the safety position and den drives on the field and would be closer to a field goal attempt, if den makes the field goal now ne is down by 4 and would be forced to score a touchdown. Ne takes the safety puts den further down the field further and now ne would only need a field goal to tie the game. If anyone thinks the safety call was a wrong one show me your reasoning, although im a believer of fixed games for my own reasons i don't believe this game was fixed.

belicheck is far from a genius, there isnt a highschool coach in America that would not have done the same thing.

I agree the safety decision was by the book that's all im saying, but Belichick is getting the job done with what he has to work with. To tell you the truth i like ne to win the superbowl.

Shanahan is basically a loser, as are most cowards assocaited with the nfl. CFL is a much better product, Brees,Peyton,Kaneele,Beuelein and other momma boy collecting a paycheck is a disgrace to white people. Catholic highschhols are whores they mess up football by recruiting 8 th graders and drawing from big pools of kids from there cult religion and then these rejects get scholarships to top 10 programs, but none of them are worth a rats ass.

Carson Palmer,Chris Rix,Steve Beurelein all Catcholic scum who wooukld not have gotten scholarship to college let alone NFL if they were at public schools.

"There are too many people involved in football to "fix" a game."

Absolutely correct...interestingly enough, most of these people who say the games are "fixed" are obviously on the losing end of the wager. How much would you have to pay each NFL player to fix a game or give them enough money in order for them to throw a god-damn game in which they get paid millions to play and would thrive on the action and prime-time spotlight!

You tell me??!?!

I doubt they are ever fixed, you get bad officiating but that comes with the territory.

Very hard to cap.

As much as I hate Belichick...he is a winner...which I can't say for most coaches out there. Props also out to Brady and his disection of the Denver secondary. He is one of the best QB's that I have seen in a hostile situation hold his own and not panick. I can see why they got rid of Bledsoe. Got that that last minute cover

Born Loser,

I would always worry with a name like that. Do you know what a self fulfilling prophecy is?

For some reason I wasn't worried. I've had way too many bad beats and back door covers in the last few days. It was time for things to even out. And this one just was shaping up as a win for the sharp money.

It seemed as though it would come down to coachs, QB's, placekickers and lack of place kickers. All an edge to the Pats. We did have the 3 points also.

You are kidding I hope.
I take it the catholic schools in your area have dominated your public schools.

NE was sharp money??
DEN could not kick a field goal twice (!) and then they failed to field a punt after the safety. That was luck and some smarts, but NE money has to feel 'lucky' not sharp.

Re fixing...Money is the reason they are not fixed. There is too much money at stake to get to the players and coaches. Perhaps you can get to one of the officials, but you cannot payoff players enough top what is already at stake. Parody, emotion, psychology (flat-efforts vs. good situations) effect the NFL tremendously and many of us want to cry fix. Are you fixing your basketball or softball games when you suck on a given wkend?

That was a baaad beat last night and a reminder why I shouldn't watch the games I'm wagering on.

Catholic HS where I live basically always wins. All religions are cults to an extent anyway.

I don't believe games are "fixed", but disagree with a few of you above that said they would be "impossible" to fix........Wouldn't be difficult at all if you think about it....
