INFO:

NC game being played at the palace of Auburn Hills. I guess that would be considered a neutral court although in the state of Michigan.

No... The game is at Ford Field. Carolina will play there 3 times this season.

The Big Ten has consistently been one of the worst conferences in the country (in both basketball and football) over the last ten years.

Without a doubt.

MSU is going to get destroyed tonight. Deon Thompson is going to have Raymar Morgan for lunch. Also, Hansbrough is going to play. The only reason he didn't play against Asheville is for obvious reasons, there was no point in suiting him up.

Ginyard will be back hopefully in a week or 2 because we need him on the defensive end, plus he gives us those junk rebound points. He'll be a very impotant piece to us winning this year.

The BIG 10 is probably the worst of BCS conferences from TOP to BOTTOM.

This coming from a Carolina fan. LOL.

I'm not sure whether I will have a play (am leaning MSU), but I would be careful taking UNC here. Home court (I know this is really at Ford Field) can work wonders...

Yep, Carolina fan. But this just isn't any other college team. It's not like they're just loaded with talent.

Hansbrough is a 4th year starting SENIOR
Lawson is a 3rd year starting JUNIOR
Ellington is a 3rd year starting JUNIOR
Thompson is a 1st year starting JUNIOR
Green is a 4th year SENIOR
Frasor is a 4th year SENIOR

Then put in the great freshman of Drew II and Ed Davis.

They are EXPIERENCED AND HUNGRY.

North Carolina will be up by 10+ at halftime.

Carolina has something special this year, not just a national contending and championship worthy team, but they have an opportunity to go down as one of the best ever.

As far as this game goes, put in the factor that it's in FORD FIELD...there will be NO HOME COURT ADVANTAGE because it's not going to be the comfort comfined hoops that MSU are used to, etc...The only advantage they have is they might have more fans, and they won't be up close like at MSU. MSU doesn't have Sutton down low, Lucas and Walton are struggling, and Lawson is going to chew them up like he has everyone this year.

Let's see the ACC is usually the best BB conference year in year out. So far in the ACC Big 10 challenge it's tied at 3-3 with two of the Big 10 losses by only 2 points. By the looks of it this year, it would be hard to call the Big10 the worst of the BCS conferences unless you want to say the ACC is one of the worst as well and we all know that's not the case.

In football the Big 10 has struggled but so has all the other conferences except the Big 12. The ACC started out dismal but has improved. The PAC 10 has been man handled by the WAC. BIG 10 has been beaten by the MAC. The Big East has been worked by everyone. The SEC went from the best conference to having what looks like only 2 legit teams from top to bottom.

Once again JayHawk Kyle continues to be the biggest retard that posts on this site. Instead of posting your thoughts just post your picks so everyone can continue to fade them. You and Rodfather should start your own fade to win service, I would pay $100 a month to get my hands on those losers!!!

I could see saying they are a bad football conference but in basketball they are always pretty competitive come march. MSU is going to lose tonight to UNC but MSU is a team that will improve all year and come March I see them in the final four. I say head to head the Big 12 and the Pac 10 is a weaker conference then the Big 10 in basketball this year.

The Big 10 is probably the third best conf in football and and maybe the fourth best in basketball. That would mean they are not the worst in EITHER. The Big 10 is better than the ACC, Big East and Pac 10 in football, and the Big 12 and SEC in basketball. They might be better than the Pac 10 also in hoops.

Not even the best UNC team of this decade. The team with Felton, May, Williams, McCants etc. was better imo, and so was the Illinois team they beat in the finals with Deron Williams, Dee Brown, James Augustine and Luther Head. Both those teams would be favored by about 6-8 points over this UNC team. That's not a knock on them, they are the best this year without question at this point, BUT college hoops was stronger in that year by a very big margin. I could easily find 4 or 5 teams this decade that had a lot more talent than this current UNC team. They just happen to be playing in a weaker year, just like the teams in college football.

At the end of the year, you'll have to eat your words.

Afterall, you are pretty popular for just throwing numbers out there. You also told me you could find, what? Almost 20 teams who could compete with UNC or have just as much talent?

This UNC team is better than that Illinois team, sorry. They're also more talented than that National Title team as well, but they have 1 huge thing in similarity...EXPERIENCE.

worst in football?

Do not be fooled by the current situation of Michigan having a few bad years. They will be back on top due to their excellent recruiting while Penn State just had a good run at a national championship scarred by a unlikely upset. Ohio State is at the top of the polls every year and Wisconsin is always a threat.

Think before you write next time because the Big 10 is filled with history of powerhouse teams that find their way at the top of the polls every year.
