Party needs to STEP UP..they could rule online poker if they invested a FRACTION of their weekly rake in a complete overhaul of their site.

swami, im only going to play in the one tourney, the $150 buy in, that i won the free seat for.. starts at 8pm cst...
Ive found that i do better the less that i play, by that i mean when i play for hours, i have a tendency to lose concentration.. Im going to try and play 1 tourney per day and let that be it.. im just a recreational player, i love playing but i dont have the time to play 4-5 hours daily..
do you go by swami on partypoker?

When I enter via Party yes but I've been using Empire so I'll send you a buddy note when I get home and you can look me up when you log on. I usually play 10/20 Limit (3/6 when the games are not good at 10/20). 25 and 50 No Limit and the Sunday tourney 1x or 2x a month. Toss in an occasional 20 or 50 mutiltable tourney and the occasional 30 or 50 1 table tourney when I have exactly an hour to kill.
I WISH I has the time to play 4-5 hours daily. I probably log maybe 5-10 per week but lately that's been more like 2 per week.

Make sure that you have nothing better to do for about 9 hours! Those tourneys usually last AT LEAST that long.
By the way, you may be playing for a seat at a WPT event rahter than a huge cash prize. SOmetimes partypoker will give the top 10 only a free space on their poker cruises and a free entry into those tourneys

yeah, i know what you mean about taking a long time, i played in some tourneys last summer on party.. best i did was 33rd place out of 600 people, so i didnt get anything.. i play aggressive early and either double up in chips or get an early exit.. terrible to sit for hours and finish out of the money.. 200 people in this one at the moment, one more hour to register.. prizes announced after registration ends..
