Is Jacory Harris a Legit Heisman Contender

His first game was as solid as it gets vs FSU. I know the Noles are not a top tier team right now, but thats still pretty dam impressive to do against your rivals in Tallahassee. Is the Sophmore a true candidate for Heisman

Harris is SO smooth and poised. He wins if he gets them to a national championship and nothing else. But I think he is awesome.

The Heisman field for this year was decided last season. Harris is neither as good a quarterback as Tebow or McCoy (or Bradford, but injury has likely knocked him out of contention), and this isn't the year for a dark-horse candidate to sneak up unknown.

Don't overreact. Miami is no national championship contender, and won't even be in a BCS bowl game. Harris is far from a Heisman QB. No where near the difference maker a Tebow is.
