Is it really true that playing poker at 3am will get you COIN?

I believe Rob stated that playing poker at 3am with drunk people is like taking candy from a baby. Is this really so? Anyone can speak from personal experience? Thanks.

Additionally, Dante and I were chatting last week how we thought that FRIDAYS also presented a good time to find some loose players online due to the fact that it is the start of the weekend, and more importantly, that many individuals will have received their paychecks on this day.

you really have to feel out your players

sometimes their dumb play plays in their advantage

but in a nice 1/2nl game you can usually find a few drunk ones that like to play every hand.

my advice is if you find a room like that stay in it for as long as possible because thats when you have the most edge

If you play Solid and do not go on TILT the minute you lose 10$ in chips you will beat anyone at your table...95% go on tilt within moments of losing any hand

sounds very logical to me. I've noticed this when I've played a little at real money tables. I usually play tourneys though, as I don't ever deposit much into my poker account, as opposed to my sportsbook acct.

Yes. I came home from the bar last night after about 8 too many and started playing. Amazing how many opening hands looked so much better that usual. Also amazing how easy it was to lose money. It also makes it hard to win when you start nodding off while you're playing.

I had a guy actually Type to me in chat when I beat him for a 145$ hand ..He had nothing not even a pair...he said "Im Drunk"

just because it's 3 a.m. where you are, doesnt mean all the other players at your table are in the same time zone.

i'd be willing to bet its prime time where most of them are.

3 a.m. = 10 p.m. in the UK.

Well ID , my friend, I would recommend either Doylesroom or pokerstars as I have played both and both seem easy pickings for solid players

I'm an advocate for the late night weekend poker playing, if you scout around and find the right tables. I prefer the sites which advertise on TV because that's where you'll find the avg joe:drink: with a few too many drinks under his belt. I have made anywhere from $50-500 per weekend for months. 3 weeks ago on Friday I played only 4 hands and was up $325, then I stopped. Some weeks I have to play 10-15hrs to make $50, just the way it is, for me at least.
