I love the way Xavier has been stepping up against the power conference teams and putting them away time and again. I think this Xavier team will pose a greater challenge to Duke than Illinois did because of there ability to shoot well from downtown. This will be a tight game tomorrow and the moneyline, whatever it is (I haven't seen one) will be very tempting. I can't believe they are getting 8 pts; however I expect this line to go down before tipoff. Anything over 6 pts will be great!
I posted something similar about the Vandy/UCONN game, when the line was high. Vegas thinks one of two things:
1) Duke will destroy Xavier and is trying to get people to take X.
2) Vegas is compensationg for Duke being a popular public team and wants money on Xavier.
I was burned by taking Vandy. Not this time. I am staying away from this one.

Vandy is no Xavier...And UCONN is the second best team in the tourney (or maybe the best). to me UCONN was a no brainer because I've seen Vandy play a lot and didn't feel they had anywhere near the athletes to compete. This turned out to be true.

I think they matchup well with anybody they play and Duke better be ready.

A10 conference is for real. St. Joe's really impressed me yesterday and I was sorry I didn't bet on them. I could've gotten 4 points too.
When Xavier beat Texas I knew they were for real. The Big 12 conference has turned out to be the strongest conference in the nation this year in my opinion. Big, athletic and talented teams throughout and it prepared the upper echolon (Kansas and OSU) well for the Tournament. Texas is a great team this year too with tremendous depth and Xavier took it to those guys an lead most of the game. I think they can do the same against Duke.

We'll see CC...How much better is Duke than Texas or Miss State. They may be better, but not by much. If Xavier comes out cold then they will get killed. That's why they call it gambling, but I think they will definitely compete today. I took a little on the moneyline too at +330. I wish I had been doing this with Xavier all along.
Its nice when a games goes they way is should! Final Four should be great.
this is the worst Duke team in 6 years (Granted they are usually an amazing team). People still think of this team as DUKE DUKE DUKE.
