How can anyone be expected to coach for Al Davis when he has no decisions in personnel or coaching staff appointment. Oakland has some nice talent and Kiffin is young enough and brash enough to make that team into something, Davis is stuck in the late 70's and 80's, maybe Madden will come out of the booth as well to coach.
What a shame this franchise will never move forward until Al kicks the preverbial bucket. Roger Goodell is so worried about players conduct detrimental to the image of the league, what about the farce Al Davis is making of the NFL. Besides he is a cheap bastard as well, "dismissed for cause", just so he thinks he won't have to pony up the remaining salary.
