This is my first year on this site and it seems that a lot of people are above 50% on their winning record this year in college and pro football. Or atleast the people posting picks and records. I have been tailing various people on this site as well as some "touts" in the service section and have been winning more than I ever have. I know I don't post picks or a record (mostly b/c I don't cap my own games and don't want to give anyone false info) but I am up the most money in any year that I have gambled. This is also the most games I gambled in a season on football, I am up $1500 and I only play $40-$80 bets. Is this normal for this many people on this site to be doing well?

Now I know by writing this and posting my success I just earned myself a nice losing streak. But I wanted to also thank everyone for the good advise for trying to beat the Bookies.

I would say that this year has been much easier for me than previous years. I agree lots of people with good records on this site but there is also some very good cappers on this site, you just have to find them from the masses.

A lot of people are full of it. I know many cappers that post their record as 40-11, + a million units, and that record is accurate. Problem is, they parlay their bets also, teaser them, follow some other plays, play some other plays and dont post them, etc and they are lifetime losers.

Having the discipline to play a couple of plays seems to be the hardest thing for people to do. Then they have a bad week, and try to chase it all back on MNF or SNF because they cant wait for next week.

Managing my money, only placing single bets and no parlays are what has helped me. I would have even more money except for those few impulse bets.

I think this forum is a great asset to players at all levels but partcularly for those on the "getting started" level. Lots of great information, both on info specific to particular games and general info, money mgmt etc.

Welcome aboard and best of luck on your plays.
