Give your opinion on this game. Could it finally be time to take Purdue?

FWIW, my girlfriend is a Boiler and simply because of this fact (no capping) I have been putting a little on Purdue every week. I was at the homecoming game last weekend. They are horrible, I have lost my bet on them every week. They have no defense and a pretty crappy offense.

NO Purdue

Purdue is in deep trouble... After a tough loss to NW last week, at home I might add, the cupboard has finally been shut on the boilermakers. Wisconsin's offensive line should be able to open up some huge holes and their defense should be able to take care of whatever Purdue has. Purdue also could be looking to change quarterbacks as Kirsch is highly ineffective. Painter, a true freshman, could see some time and I don't see Purdue winning. That doesn't mean they can't cover the spread.
I like Wisconsin by 17.

I am a Boiler alumni and feel they are going to mail it in the rest of the way. Their season has been an utter disappointment and feel they may start playing the young players. I will no longer bet this team this year.

It's the Badgers' homecoming, for what that is worth.

As much as I have been punished the last 2 weeks on Purdue, I may be a glutton for punishment and take them again. Wisconsin is a terrible Home Fav off a lucky road win in a rivalry game. This is a horrible spot for the Badgers.

As much as I love Wisconsin, their defense is buttery. Wisconsin can put points on the board, but they need to with that defense.

Pure poetry, Coach LT!

I am all over Wisky -8. I would take the over, but I can see Purdue laying an egg and scoring 14-17 points. GL

call me crazy, but I'm on Purdue here...I think the pressure is now off of these guys, they can no longer qualify for a bowl, they will be on the road...no fans booing...I watched Wisconsin's D line, not getting much pressure...RB Void is back, they moved the ball nicely vs. NW, just didn't finish some drives...think back to a month ago, I know that Purdue was overhyped, but they have lost to some pretty good/ hot teams...at Minnesota, at home vs. Notre Dame, at home vs. a good Iowa team, and at home vs. a hot NW team...these guys seriously aren't that bad and I think Wisconsin plays more conservative at home...FB Bernstein is still out...Stocco has been throwing well though...

Purdue has 2 starting CB's that were running backs at some point THIS season.

Badgers roll big time.

It's my POW.

Hope all of you jump on PU so I can get it even lower than -8. I'd probably take it all the way to 13 1/2.

Going with Pudue as well

Good points. Wisky off emotional game, and haven't seen same stops by all new DL as I saw last year. Hate Purdue's pass defense, but that seems not to be Wisky's strength.

This is either an upset, or your typical Joe Tiller lose by 3 at the wire job.

You guys must be seeing angles I am not...

Purdue is 2-4 SU, Wisky is 7-1 SU.
Purdue is 0-5-1 ATS, Wisky is 5-1-1 ATS.

Arguments can be made that lines have been off all season, Purdue has been overvalued with high lines, Wisky has gotten off easy with cheap lines, etc.

But if you follow trends, their records ATS are pretty convincing.

If I am missing something, please fill me in.
