Is hosting the RX BASH a good business decision for the Golden Nuggett?

We have all seen the Casino on TV & those two Geeks trying to run the place. Was their decision to COMP 100 rooms a good business decision for them? or will this sharp RX Bunch eat them alive in Free Comps aswell as winning their wagers?

The Nugget knows exactly what they are doing. They must have had a huge take last year.

It may change this year with Fishy and his expertise at slots.

Only problem for the Nugget is that from reading many of the posts here...

My guess is many of the Rx posters are not old enough to play in the casino!

Exactly right.Catering to a bunch of gamblers is a great move that is what they are in the business of doing.And I am sure that since we are gamblers many of our wives and girlfriends are also.So they are giving out 100 rooms.You have to figure that,just an estimation that there will be at least 150 people who will gamble some money at least.And don't forget I don't care who you are every trip to the casino isn't a profitable one unless you are robbing the cage.So yes they will make out and imo very well from the rx party.Name of the game bring people into the casino!

the name of the game in vegas is getting people to stay at "my hotel as opposed to yours."

this way people bet (and lose) at my casino and no one else's.

trust me - the GN KNOWS what it is doing here. they are giving away about $16k in free rooms ($80/night - what it cost LY times 2 nights times 100 rooms) and they will EASILY make that back.

I think the nugget is perfect a classy hotel in the middle of the fremont experience...a few $$ to the strip in cab..loved it last year, they treated us well IMo
