his best friend is a known gang-banger, drug dealer; his mother and stepfather live in a $770,000 house (owned by a sports agency) for a year and a half promising to pay the $4500 monthly payment after the draft, when he signs with that same agency. neither of which happened -- so, now the sports agency evicted his parents from the house and are filing a fraud lawsuit against him.

maybe the texans knew more than we did.

bush is a special talent, BUT:

he's small (durable??? the nfl is not the pac 10!)
he's expensive
he's not needed on their team
and of course there is the disturbing aforementioned reports

i like ferguson here to save carr's ass, hell i even think v. davis would help out carr, but williams is also a awesome choice -- however, still don't believe they wouldn't have been able to trade down and get some value.

Good post Hansen Bros. Came out today that Bush's parents got an extra $100,000 in cash of spending $$$. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Bush will NEVER make the Pro Bowl as a RB in New Orleans. Saints just bought themselves an expensive 3rd down back and kick returner. The NFC South is NOT the Pac-10.

When I first heard Texas not going to get Bush I thought they were insane but now as I review the material and information on both players drafted first and second overall in the draft today I see Texas knew what they were doing. But I still think Vince Young is better than Reggie Bush and Mario Williams. That's just my opinion.

Would be more interesting if they did a TRUE investigation of what has gone on there the last few years and include Mike Williams, Bush, etc... and they get sanctioned as they should. Instead they will get a slap on the wrist. Think a full investigation of Bush, Leinart, White, Jarrett, Justice, etc wouldn't open a Pandora's box?
