I used it at one point because it was the only thing accepting US credit cards. Then once I had all my drivers license/utility bills scanned and delivered to them it was just a convenience issue to stick with them.

I just can't even take it anymore.

First off:
Most importantly are how bad their lines are. No quarter lines. No overnight lines. Wait a minute. I'm not even going to ask for overnight lines. Can I at least have SAME DAY lines???? 1/3 of their basketball card right now (3 outta 9 games) have not posted lines yet as they wait for injury reports. What kind of book does this? I could understand if this was Kobe or Lebron or something being questionable, but they are way too liberal with this. They will hold the lines up to practically 30min before tipoff before allowing wagering. It's the most amateur thing I've ever seen.

Second:
Low betting limits. Max is $500 on some games, $1000 on others. I haven't figured out the rationale yet.

Third:
Shady payout practices. I'm not just talking about long waits either, though my last payout took 10 weeks. (Their site says 5-8 business days and then cover their ass by saying that's only an "estimate".)

My payout came in an unlicked envelope with no return address, they didn't even bother to tuck the flap in. So the check was just half exposed with the envelope flapping in the wind. My guess is they were hoping the check would fall out and get lost in the mail or that someone would steal it so they can say they sent the check on their end and have no idea why you didn't get it. If I hadn't had a distinct value on my cash out ($999.21), it would have probably looked like a junk mail check to me before I realized it was my cashout.

Fourth:
You can only buy hooks on half point lines. Sportsbook.com let's you buy as many points as you want.

Wow..that's one shitty online book. Stay away from betus.com, they're bad too. I'm using sportsbook and they're not bad. You get one free withdraw per month. All juices for Friday is -105.

I'm in the middle of switching my roll slowly over to Sportsbook.com. They are professionals. Like you said, half-juice fridays, and tomorrow's NBA lines are already up.

2-3 years ago in the middle of the lockdown on US funding to gambling sites, Sportsbook.com had a hell of a time getting my cashout ($5,000 even) to me. After the first call, I got connected to some manager who gave me his personal office number and told him to call that if I needed updates.

When I got my cashout, they had added 7% ontop of it as a thankyou for my patience. They did not credit my account and make me play it off. Literally, it was added to my check, free cash no strings attached.

After I took some breaks from capping, Sportsbook.com like a year later sent me $100 free to my account, no strings attached again, to try to get my business back. They know how to treat their customers.

when did this check incident happen?

I had the same problem awhile ago but recently cashed out and they sent me a fedex number the next day and received the check within 4 days.

I still think their book sucks though. As you said, the lines come up late, limited money lines on college games, and they don't have puck lines for hockey!

I'm eventually going to switch to a different book once I get up some money.

I agree with the lines issues, but I just requested a payout on Jan. 31st and received it 4 days later by fedex no problems what so ever.:103631605

It happened Summer of 2008. They didn't have the Fedex service back then that I'm seeing that they are talking about having now since I haven't had a cashout since then.

So, 2 people here say that they got their cashouts within a week and the FEdex# even faster? Well then, that's a credit to Bodog that I will give them. Hopefully, it will be like that for me once I dump my cash out of there.

Better be careful. Willie will ban you for saying something bad about Bodog or Sportsbook.com. You're only allowed to badmouth other forum's sponsors here!

IMO Bodog caters to amateur players looking for on-line poker and sports betting from a nationally recognized site. It's no secret that they also have slow lines, poor odds, and few betting options. But that's the deal going in. And even though they've been known for slow payouts in the past (recent reports are they've gotten a lot better), I've never heard anyone accuse them of not paying at all.

Just my $0.02.

sportbook.com might give you a free payout every month but it will take 6 months to get it!!! very slow and way to much hassle in my experience

If it wasnt for "betus" i wouldnt probably have ever gambled. They sent me a magazine about sports handicapping and how to handicapp the nfl games, I didnt even know there was such a thing of actually having an edge in winning, and got hooked on sports gambling ever since. lol
but i never joined with them.

if you need to deposit with a credit card use bookmaker.com its an A+ book, with the earliest lines. its 100% safe, you can make big bets. you get 2 free payouts a month with their new loyalty program as well.

payouts may not be as quick as thegreek,5dimes, or betJM but debit cards work...and reloadable cards on bookmaker with ease.
