What’s kind of crazy is in the 2024 format, Ohio State would’ve hosted James Madison in the first round then played Tulane on a neutral field in the quarters lol

  • The playoffs are inherently flawed, by putting in small conference teams like James Madison and Tulane, to be fair, inclusive, instead of the best
  • Anyone who does not put Georgia in the top 4 is a blind raged SEC hater, they should be #2 and IMO they are better than Indiana--Texas Tech is a good team but I am not impressed with there SOS, beat BYU twice, woop de do
  • SEC is the best conference, bar none, almost no easy games every weekend (I did not go to an SEC school), the fact of the matter is it IS the best, bar none. A pity Ole Miss will probably have troubles with Kiffin leaving and all the distractions. Georgia to me is very likely to win it all their young D jelled late, and watch out for A&M. Texas beat a lot of top teams, would be favored over a lot of the teams that will be 8-12 in the brackets, they, too, jelled late (OL) but blew it with 3 losses, they are not going to be in.
My bye order:
Indiana
Georgia
OSU
T Tech

This should be the top four

1. Indiana
2. Ohio State
3. Georgia
4. Texas Tech

A three-loss Alabama should not be in the CFP. They lost to a really bad FSU team, a not so good OU team and Georgia. And the sentiment is that three-loss Texas is out? Texas and Alabama both have three losses. Texas has a better win/loss resume. Alabama did not play well, and Texas did at the end of the season.

JMU had a nice season, but they're not one of the 12 best teams. Neither is Tulane or Duke (five losses-gimme a break). IMO, those three should not be in. Given how things played out yesterday, I think that Notre Dame, Miami and Texas should all be in. No matter what the committee decides to do, some people are going to be unhappy with it. The CFP needs to go to 16 teams next year. It should have been 16 teams in the first place.

March Madness is what it is because everybody has a chance in a one and done tournament

There are too many flaws with college football scheduling to pretend we know who the best conference is. Stated simply, there are not enough OOC matchups between the top programs after September. Hence we can't possibly know who the best conferences are

And, everybody deserves a shot at the money. You simply can't have it all go to a very few conferences, that helps it all become a self-fulfilling prophecy

Play the games, and you better finish near the top of your conference to earn a shot at the NC (top 3). You don't get in because you played a "tough schedule", you have to win too

ND in
Freshman QB who lost his first 2 games. Rolling now.

SEC isn't what it used to be. Talent is spread out more to other conferences and teams. GA is good, but they look good playing SEC teams. GA would have a big problem with Ohio St, Indiana, Oregon, TT, ND, and Miami,

I agree. The easiest game for Georgia on that list would be Notre Dame imo.

Alabama 9th? lol

Agree with Miami over Notre Dame but didn’t think they’d do it

Ohio State might’ve gotten a better deal by losing. Texas Tech/Oregon on the other side of the bracket

Group of five should be a play-in game...Tulane v BYU and ND v JM. They can participate if they win. Meanwhile we have Mississippi v Tulane when Miss won by 35 this year, Oregon who will be favored by the high teens v JM and an OK v Alabama rematch. Ho hum.

The past weekend should be all “play-in games” for teams on the cusp

No conference title games

Already got wagers down. Just pounded Miami ML hard. I also played Tulane as that game will be closer than a lot of people think.

Oregon is -21.5 vs JMU & Mississippi is -17.5 vs Tulane

So there is a list of 10 teams in the Big 10 that plays at this level?

You clearly are buying into the name value of teams. It is the same scam with this conference, they make hay off of beating one another and keeping lofty preseason rankings.

Michigan , USC are at least equal. Big Ten doesn't have Fla St though. Maybe if they did, they would cancel out Bama.

This will be the 3rd year in a row where the SEC won't get a sniff of the championship game, even with the most teams in the bracket.

Seems to be set up to have SEC teams eliminate each other, quickly
If Oregon played 7 or 8 of the teams i Iisted they’d have 3 losses give or take
