In my opinion Texas Tech is the best team in the country. But for ranking purposes

1. Indiana

2. Texas Tech

3. Oregon

4. Ohio State

5. Georgia

How would Georgia not be top 4?

It’ll be Indiana #1, then Georgia/Texas Tech/Ohio State rounding out the top 4
These are just my opinion on how I see the teams. I'd take the top 4 straight up without the points if they were dogs to Georgia & would not think twice.

Let Duke in!

Why not?
You got homer announcers on the alternate feed politicking for Duke which is comical. No way you can justify them being in. They were only in the title game because of ACC's asinine tiebreaker rules. I'd let a 3 loss Texas in before Duke.

JMU would beat Duke outright

Duke won the Conference Championship..IMO they should be in..if not, make the ACC part of the G5..Upsets are part of the game..Miami could have been in if they took care of business and won the conference..but they didn't..Being Conference Champion should mean something. losses notwithstanding

It's going to be an interesting Selection Sunday, lots of teams on the bubble

Bama
ND
Miami
James Madison
Tulane
BYU

Can Duke sneak in? I doubt it, but someone from the ACC should be in (BTW, UConn beat DOOK, maybe we keep them out, LOL)

Can Oklahoma be left out? I doubt it, but should this tournament have the entire SEC and / or Big10 in. Maybe there should be a hard cap of say 3, because you really can't determine the best conferences in the country by September 30. After that, they're all inbred

I think it's going to be a great tournament this year

I prefer 8 teams and no byes, certainly would have made it easier this year. I don't like 12, I don't like byes, so I think they'll eventually settle on 16

They are legit , but still think Ohio State wins it all
Well, like you said they didn’t care about this game. It meant absolutely nothing, right? They were thinking about their next opponent, who they won’t even know who that is for 2 weeks and won’t play for over 3 weeks from now. LMAO.

It worked, you have your excuse for the loss.

The committee moved to protect Alabama with last week's rankings and it blew up in their faces.
What is the argument for the Crimson Tide at this point? They had 7 pts and -3 yards rushing in a completely uncompetitive game.

I would take them out and put in ND and Miami. I would put TX in ahead of Alabama.

Remember when expanding the playoff was going to settle all this?

Indiana outplayed them and deserved the win regardless of how vanilla Ohio State played

Alabama should be out. This notion playing in a conference tournament shouldn’t hurt is nonsense. Our eyes saw the game, you can’t discount it.

Jmu and Tulane should get their shot. I doubt they can win it all but that’s not the point. they earned their spot. Reaching the cfp for smaller programs is such an accomplishment that when they earn it ya gotta give em their spot. Having 5 teams from a conference is nonsense, he’ll having 4 seems like too much.

I preferred the old 4 team playoff. We keep expanding the playoff and we will keep having this problem. Debating the 4th best team was fine cause it was always between 1 or 2 teams. Debating the 12th best team in the country is so much harder. Take it to 16 and it only gets worse. I still stand by the fact that college football lost its best thing it had over other sports, every single game mattered. Used to be you needed a magical season. Now you can lose 2 or 3 games and still win it all. Cfb was the only sport where your season was at risk every single week. I preferred that.
