i never play teasers but was tempted to take the 3 tm 10 pt teaser this week w NE, GB and Seat all really needing to win and being able to get them all at about PK. does it ever make sense, odds wise, to lay 120 to make 100 on a 3 tm 10 pt teaser? if so, i would think this is the weekend for it.

They are like anything else - you have to pick your spots. I have done very, very well with them this year. Last Sunday I played 4 teasers all posted here and won them all. I have some rules that I like to follow when I bet them, one of which is to avoid road teams, so I would probably lay off of yours. Of the three you have I think Seattle is the most likely to lose.

Like he said two things to try not to do is to use them on road teams and never cross the 0 line (Example: turn Team Y from -4 to +6 on a 10pt) but turning a -8.5 to +1.5 is okay because you are making it a PICK 'EM

Those are the exact 3 teams I played on my teaser. I can't see GB and NE losing to teams with 2 wins. Seattle is on a row and Arizona has a 3rd string QB starting.

If I lose.........than props to them but I love my chances on a must win for everyone trying to better their postion for the playoffs.

I like it, and like it a lot ....and IF we should lose it is a play someone should make based on the needs of all three teams.

GB should, though they have been not good on the road this year. TB has not quit on the year either. But GB has way more talent
NE should. The Jest are still the Jest.
Sea worries me though. Az has a terrific defense, at home, with revenge, and more rest. Az won games with Drew Stanton....Lindley isnt *THAT* far of a dropoff. Sea does seem to be playing really good across the board so it's not a bad pick but it definitely worries me the most. I'd pick Detroit over them simply because Chi has quit on the year.

Also, there's usually heavy juice associated with 10pt teasers. Does a ML parlay pay better odds?

that's an interesting question regarding parlaying the money lines. looking at pinnacle odds for NE, Seat and GB, u get the odds for this three team parlay on the ML to be -123 to make 100, so almost the exact same odds as the 10 pt teaser of -120. so, at least in this case, the teaser odds are not a ripoff.

i agree with everybody that arizona is the weakest link of the 3 teams; and good pt re Det being a strong candidate instead cause of Chicago give up. i was considering doing only the 2 tm 6 pt. parlay w GB and NE, but giving -4.5 for each, but that doesn't get me below the -3 that i think is worthwhile to do any kind of parlay for.

Teasers are rip offs no matter how you try to defend them. The odds always favor the book.

Why sweat out all 3 games? Pick the team you like best and, lay the points if you have to.
