IP question

I have a Dynamic IP right now at my business and with the new cameras I have, I need a Static IP to be able to watch over the internet easily. Is theere any way to get a Static IP w/out giving sprint another 10 bucks oer month?

I doubt it...$10 is actually pretty cheap. A buddy of mine wanted the same thing with Qwest & I think it was $20-25 more a month.

you can sign up for dynamic dns service (this will allow you to access your webcams etc via a domain name say ....webcam.atmyhouse.com........and each time that your IP changes the dns service updates their records so you can always access it via domain name)

what cameras and software are you using... just got some from x10 and they are crap.

No.. I am assuming you have DSL.

You will need to purchase a static IP from them.
