Today the Iowa Hawkeyes travel to NorthWestern to take on the Wildcats who are 4-0 ATS at home with Ats wins against Depaul, Seton Hall, Illnois (1) and Indiana, not only are the Wildcats a great home cover they always play well against Iowa winning in Iowa last year as a 14 point dog and getting a close two point win at home also, I look for this game to stay close throughout and will gladly take the 6.5 points at home in this one. Northwestern could win this one outright,

NorthWestern +6.5 (cash this ticket)

Did you know NW's top 2 scorers are likely OUT?Availability of leading scorer Vedran Vukusic, who injured his left shoulder Saturday at Penn State, will be a game-time decision. Vukusic was limited in practice Tuesday. Carmody allowed center Mike Thompson (right) to rejoin practice, but his suspension for missing classes likely will extend to a second game tonight

Landers, Thanks for the update, I do realize that the Northwestern top two scorers are questionable but coach Carmony has Vince Scott playing well and and Freshman Brain Lee back for tonight, this will add some depth and if either of Thompson or Vukusic play it will be a huge advantage, I have heard this morning that Thompson will play but not start and Vukusic is doubtful but I hear he will also see some time, he is a gametime decision. Thanks again,

not sure where you get your info but I'm in the NU neighborhood and word in the Trib today is that Lee might sit out another game with his suspension too....and besides....trading Thompson (6-10) and Vukusic (6-8) for Lee (5-10) doesn't exactly help the where they need it...in the paint. Vukusic's loss is the big one IMO. Thompson has been a disappointment, but he does eat space in the paint. Also, Scott averages 2.5 ppg and Lee 1.8 ppg. Scott will start but it's a big step down from Mike T....and Lee likely wouldn't see playing time in a competitive game anyway, so don't understand you even mentioning him as he has no significance whatsoever IMO.

I will again make the statement that I know both top scores are questionable for tonights game, Lee will add some depth if back but look to thompson to play tonight and Vukusic to gut it out, Northwestern will cover this line at home as it has even drop to 5.

Northwestern will cash this ticket

Unbelievable, I'm on NW too. This happens to me all the time. I think overtime will be low scoring and the Cats keep it close. GL
