Iowa at Wisconsin and why 6.5 pts is too much

hear me out before chalking this up to biased homerism.

Iowa, under Fran McCaffery, is 3-2 against the Badgers with both losses coming in overtime / double overtime.

2013 Wis 74-70 (2OT)
2013 Iowa 70-66
2012 Iowa 67-66
2011 Iowa 72-65
2011 Wis 62-59 (OT)

averages out to Iowa 67.6 ppg and Wisc 66.6 ppg over their last 5, with each game being decided by less than 7 pts and avg margin of victory only 3.8 pts. also of note, Wisc rarely gives up 70 pts (don't have the #s offhand) yet Iowa has done it each of the last 3 seasons. not a big trend guy but it's obvious that McCaffery's style of play matches up well against Bo Ryan. take the pts as this game will be close regardless of who wins.

I hear you. Its how Iowa plays. They push the envelope no matter the score and no matter the time. ultra aggressive. That charge call was bogus and then the interference call was just wrong. That looked plain as day to me.

I've seen this too many times with this Iowa team - play lights out for 30 min then choke down the stretch. happened against Nova and Iowa St and multiple times last year. good chance for a middle if the line is right, but I'm just gonna ride out my original bet. gLuck
