Intertops - Payout Waiting Period? What?

I'll aim for brevity -

Deposited $50 into Intertops.com via a 900 number on Thursday, 2/24. Rolled it into $162.50 and requested a payout via Neteller Sunday morning. This morning, I notice the funds are still in the account, so I email the site. Rep says Neteller normally takes 24-48 hours.

That in and of itself is unacceptable, but all right. I then ask her to confirm that the payout request was indeed received, since the funds are still in the sportsbook. She replies by directing me to rule 3.9, which states...

"3.9 As a new customer at Intertops.com, your very first withdrawal will be subject to a 14 day waiting period with the exception of deposits made by Money Transfer (non US residents only). You may also be asked to send documents to verify your ID."

Pure nonsense. Is there any way to expedite the handling of my piddling payout amount? I'm not exactly asking them to crack open Fort Knox here. The small deposit and play was designed to test the Intertops service interface - to say they've failed would be a spectacular understatement. I've played at a 1/2 dozen other books and have never been asked to wait two weeks for my initial payout...and with the exception of Sportsbook.com, books take between 15-60 minutes to process a Neteller withdrawal.

Shrink? Anyone?

Royler, I would like to help you, but with that rule in place, I do not have a leg to stand on in court.

I've played with Intertops for years. They were my first sportsbook when I started gambling online seven years ago. There is a 24-48 hr waiting period for Neteller withdrawals. That's AFTER the money is debited from your account. This is a MAJOR annoyance, no doubt. But you don't have to worry about NOT getting paid. They are as solid as Bowmans, WSEX, etc.

You're missing the point, man. It's completely ridiculous to force a first-time customer to wait two entire weeks for a payout. What if I had deposited $500 instead of $50, and wanted $1600 instead of $160 to grab a better line someplace else? Hell, what if my furnace broke down?

Obviously, Intertops hopes/expects that a funded account is an active account, which translates into an empty account...but to their coffers, not mine. The whole thing absolutely stinks. I'm an active player: win some at some books, lose some at others. Treat me right and I'll be back, maybe to help your bottom line. But with this kind of service? Never again.

Let's send a message to Intertops and see what happens. Send me an email at TheGeneral@TheRx.com.

Maybe they will look at it as good PR and assist you ASAP.

Best of luck

Intertops has really been going downhill lately. It took them 3-4 days to process a dime to my Neteller account.

Don't tell me you didn't read the terms and conditions including rule 3.9? So what exactly is your problem?

Do you expect all books to operate in the same manner so you don't bother to read their terms? If so, I sincerely hope you don't bet on tennis.

General,

Email sent. Thanks.

Woody,

I do read terms and conditions, but not every inch, and I did not expect a "name" book like Intertops to offer such poor service. Had I deposited a significant amount, I would've been far more dilligent in understanding their policies. As is, I'm just awestruck that they can adhere to such nonsense when bigger, stronger books are out there.

With the limits they have it would take a lot of wins to even want to cash out.

My account with Intertops is more than 6 yrs old. And I never have a problem with payout even up to 5k. Yes, its perfectly normal for a 24-48hrs wait for payout to NETeller. But your money is safe.

I remember I once had a payout misunderstanding with Intertops which really pissed me off. However, CS really made the effort to settle my problem gracefully. After I received the fund to NETeller, she even took the trouble to inform me about it and told me "If its Intertops agenda to stiff a player fund, I would be the last person Intertops would ever consider as my record shows that I'm a long standing customer with them."

Ever since that incident, all my payout were processed by NETeller within 24hrs.
I'm still a happy customer at Intertops. But reduced actions greatly with them though.. as their limit is way too low.

Royler, I have sent message to Intertops about this, but as I said, I do not feel I can be critical as they have a rule in place and it is up to us to read those rules when signing up. We acknowledge that we did when we join. Do I read em all? No, but I follow them as needed.

Maybe Intertops will expedite your payout out of kindness.

Take care
