Is there any way they lose this game at home to the Lions? Indy must win to stay in the Wild Card lead and the lions may be saddling up Dan Orlovsky again. It is a steep ML but it seems like free cash. I probably won't take it because of the great risk involved but wondered about other more experienced bettors thoughts?
If this game were played 1000 times under these same circumstances, Detroit would win around 77 times out of 1000. Anything can happen. What if Peyton Manning breaks his leg on the first play from scrimmage? Would you guys still think laying 15 to 1 is a good deal?
Last year in baseball I made some great wagers on series after the favorites were out to 2-0 or 3-0 leads. But that was not one game. In one game, lots of strange things can happen, especially when the dog is winless and likely to make a serious effort to avoid being forever linked to the dog of dogs.

ouch. that type of thing sticks with you for a LONG time. i still from time to time think about the packers losing to the giants at lambeau and the $5000 that it cost me.

Not thinking the lions even have a chance....but theres always that chance, if Manning gets hurt, or something goes wrong

Don't do it. Indy will probably win but the risk is not worth it unless you can afford to lose that kind of money. 15 years ago when I first started gambling I got busted doing one of these scenarios and am still pissed I even thought about it let alone did it. There is no free money in this biz.
