Indiana +9/ Kentucky
I really think the number is to big here. I know you're thinking that there HAS to be better teams to put $$ on than the Hoosiers, but they may just win this game Saturday. This is traditionally a close game that will be within a TD at the end. Kentucky has sandwiched this game between 'Bama and Florida, a classic let down spot. KU has developed a lackadaisical attitude to this rivalry and IU is just beginning to get their team in gear. I can easily see IU controling the ball on the ground and giving the 'round mound of touchdown' some problems. The 'pilsbury throwboy' will keep this game close, with his mistakes. I think Lorenzen is a decent QB, but will struggle here. LoVecchio is getting better and better at QB and Lewis is a solid RB. Offensively the YPG are similar and both have had defensive meltdowns (IU/ Wash & KU/ Louis.). IU also had the bad draw of facing a talented UCONN team opening its new Stadium and its fans to D1 ball. MANY teams would have looked bad in that spot.
This one will have to be pulled out by Lorenzen in the end, if KU is to win. Check out the Kentucky website, it just rips on the IU rivalry and how it's an EASY spot for KU and that's why they should keep the game going year in and year out. http://www.kentucky.com/mld/kentucky/sports/colleges/university_of_kentucky/6782170.htm
