As I stated for us hard core degenerates we will jump the hoops, some will throw in the towel as stated also in this thread.
But what is the future if generation X can't even get started?
Those that deposit and lose will never know but those that win and have to fax a fucking utility bill will throw in the towel sooner than later.
Thus the question should be what is the future state of the offshore industry?
From there end as a bookmaker, I say just fine.
Very profitable business for them. If it wasnt you would be seeing all of these books close up shop since then and it just hasnt happened. Talk about having to deal with all the bullshit. I play at shops I was refered to back in the day and I have no idea how they make it nowadays. They never ever advertise that I have seen and the good thing is they still pay fast. They know how importnat it is to do that. If it wasnt worth it to those type places you would hear horror stories about all of them and you just dont. I have talked personally to a few smaller shops management and they have said the same thing. They were doing this in 1997 and it was 10x less profitable back then.
Funny thing is I dont think I have known more then 3 people back in my hometown who knew a thing about betting offshore and even then it was minor. I think the offshore business had (and still does) a long long way to go for players like that. Sure it would b much better with more "square" money in the market nowadays but you move forward. The strong will survive.
