In Vegas for the Super Bowl, TOTAL WINNER INSIDE!!

Just recieved a phone call from my cousin and he sent a plane ticket to me for next week to be in Vegas for the Super Bowl. Will be huge parties all over Vegas for this game! After collecting big in yesterdays FLYING OVER THE TOTAL in the Pats game, they are all unloading on the UNDER 47 & 47 1/2 thats all over town. They figure this game on being played in the high 30's or low 40's. Total is off by 4 or 5 points in their opinions. As far as totals go they are 9-2 since I hooked up with them. Not a bad stat and they specialize on totals. GLTA.

Yes they bet it and so did I. 47 1/2 is to high in their figures thats all. Not saying "GUARANTEE OR LOCK" , just a # that they think is off and EVERYONE is entitled to their opinion but Pit Bull please stay out of my threads. Start your own . Not going to say the amount on which is being played but its alot. They hope the # goes higher late which it probably will.

i dont see much action on the o/u so far.... staying steady at 47.5/48. I wouldnt be surprised if it goes up to 49.5

These SB's always seem to fly over the total, no matter how good the D's are. Over 47 -120 for me.

especially under a 49 number, with almost perfect playing weather. eagles need to score points to win this game, pats wont be shut out

I'm not disagreeing with you, Pops, but look at actual SB totals for past 5 years:

2004 - 61
2003 - 69
2002 - 37
2001 - 41
2000 - 39

3 of 5 under 48. I realize that, historically, more SBs go over than under. With these 2 great defenses, the value seems to be in the under. If this were a regular season game, would you bet the over 48?
