Gentlemen. I need some help. I am 20 years old and last night I lost huge. I am down 2650 with my guy. The week doesnt end until tuesday after the superbowl but I do not know what I am going to do. Please please pleaseeeeeeeee can you guys try and pick me some sure winners so I can make up some ground. Otherwise I do not know what I will do. Please guys I need some winners so bad. Thanks.

Poppinfresh, Ive been in your shoes so the last thing I want to do is preach. I'm assuming from the post your in a situation where your playing catch up and with scared or no money. Every one in this forum does their best to post winners but there are no guarantees. Before you start pulling the trigger, ask your self what is the situation going to be like if your loses double. Consider coming clean with your guy now instead of making it worse. Just my opinion from someone who did make it worse.

There's no quick fix. If yer gonna do it you'd better be ready to lose, and you'd better do it right - or you'll get into all kinds of other problems.

DO NOT take a loan from the bank -- your man should be understanding and just pay him off as you can interest-FREE. 90% of the books in this world would be more than happy just to get paid.

Find 20 friends or people you know and borrown $100 dollars from them and tell your guy to hold up on the 650 for a few weeks. You can always pick two games and bet say 500 each and hope for at worst a split. If you hit both then do it again 500 and 500 you have to hit 4 in a row to get down to a decent amount. I don't know I hated being in those situations when I was younger and I never got out of them so gl.

I AGREE WITH HANSON. JUST TELL HIM THE SITUATION AND ASK HIM IF YOU CAN PAY A LITTLE AT A TIME. "A REGULAR BASIS." IF HE SAYS ITS OK PAY REGULAR. DONT PAY 500 TODAY AND WAIT 2 MONTHS FOR ANOTHER PAYMENT. I AM IN THE SAME SITUATION WITH A FEW PEOPLE THAT OWE ME. I WOULD RATHER HAVE IT ALL AT ONE TIME, BUT AS LONG AS THEY PAY ME THATS FINE.

Poppin I would come clean with your local ASAP and explain to him the deal. MOST locals will understand and will be happier that you came clean PRIOR to collection day. MOST locals are also happier knowing you're not going to try to stiff them. I also wouldn't put a dollar on anything until you settle the amount. I emphasized MOST locals because there are some that aren't as understanding (after all they are just looking to get paid when you lose) but most of the time the local feels better knowing you are honest about paying them.

Everyone is different...but talk to him and see what you can do. Good luck!

- I would also consider not playing games until you have some money behind you to back them up. I always plan as if I'm going to lose every game I play (which lately has been closer to the truth than I like) and I make sure I have the dough to pay for all my plays if they lose. Just a thought...
