Don't know if someone mentioned it already, but in germany there is a rumor,
that Ballack is injured and could miss the final. He didn't participate in the last practice before the final tomorrow. The report said, that it will be a game time decision. So, if you want to bet on spain, do it now. The midfield of Spain is already better, but without Ballack i they will have a big advantage.

cheers,

reported just live on bild.de. Bild.de is biggest newspaper in germany. They are kind of "the Sun" in uk, but regarding soccer they are always good informed and especially regarding the german soccer team they have very good connections. But still, treat this info with causion.

ESPN reporting doubtful. Would suck for him, he missed the WC02 final too, although he deserved it for that cynical professional foul.

I still think Germany will win. I'll be on the under though, and this helps it out. Don't have to worry about set pieces as much from the Germans with Ballack out. Isn't Villa hurt as well?

Those fears have now been confirmed by Spanish team doctor Jesus Jimenez, who said at a press conference today that the Valencia striker would be out of action for at least six days. Villa is the leading scorer at Euro 2008 with four goals, one more than Germany opponent Lukas Podolski.

German Coach Löw said, he had written off Ballack for the final and thinking already about another gameplan. Word is that Borowski or Schweinsteiger could play Ballacks position.
