Anyone happen to know of any good immigration attorneys?

I've gotten a couple referrals and quotes that range from $500 - $2k to help me get a work permit. I'm a little weary hiring an attorney w/o a referral, and those who are well known tend to charge a lot.

If anyone happens to know any good, experienced lawyers who don't overcharge, I'd appreciate it.

Theres a great attorney I use to use name Franklin who used his Mercedes as an office where everyone parks their cars along the road behind Immigration.... Ask any of those vultures always hitting you up for stuff about Lic. Franklin and they will get you to him....... I heard that lawyers aren´t that much help now with the new processes they have set up with Immigration, but for a work permit I am not sure......Franklin used to get the job done and he was dirt cheap......Charged me 10,000 colones to renew my residency and he would tell me to come back to his ¨office¨ in 3 days and sure enough he would have my little residency book stamped and up to date.....

Good Luck,
FI
