I'm still a newbie here and I recently read several posts bashing Betonsports (BoS). I have money with them and will be requesting a payout on Friday. I was told I had to wait six business days after making a deposit to request a payout. Not an unreasonable position.

My questions

1) are there lots of people having problems with BoS, or was it just one large payout a few years ago? Not justifying anything here, just looking for a pattern.

2) What is everybodies favorite 2 or 3 books? It appears pinnacle & wsex are popular.

3) What books must be avoided? betus? BoS? Youwager?

4) What books are part of the "Nasa Group"? Don't like the sound of that!

Thanks for your help!!!!!!

These are the books I have played with and would recommend. Pinny, Olympic, Hollywood, Cascade, CRIS and Bodog.

Stay away from BOS, Betus and Royal.

Did you fund with an instant check or EFT? If so, I'm sure they are waiting for your deposit to clear before issuing a payout.

Nothing wrong with Bos and their payments at this time. They will pay you, period. Them cutting me off from certain types of wagers I do have a problem with however. Chickenshit if you ask me and I never used to think they would ever be like that.

BoS owns several different sportsbooks: Millennium, WagerMall, Jaguar, Rock Island just to name a few.

They have millions of cash on hand. They won't stiff you.

But you do have to keep an eye on them. They are anything but 100% honest.

First year I played with them, when I requested a payout after the Super Bowl, they were quick to tell me that the funds were not available for payout because I had not met the rollover requirements. I started reading the plays from my spreadsheet and asked them where I would e-mail my spreadsheet so we could go over everything. They quickly said they had made an error and I had met the rollover. So I ordered the payout and waited for the check to arrive. Nothing. A week later, I called them back. "Oh, we have no record of a payout request. We will send you a check." Two days later, I had my money.

Last year I played with WagerMall. First few weeks, I had no problem playing point spreads for $500 per day, taking full advantage of each promotion they advertise, like -105 thru sportsbook A on Tuesdays, half a point free with sportsbook B on Wednesdays, etc. Starting around week 4 or 5 (and with my account being in plus territory) they explained that the official rule is that you can only use one promotion during the week on one side. Later, they started telling me that my action between point spreads and money lines had to be 50/50. To their credit, when I did ask for a payout early, forfeiting the bonus, they paid promptly.

This year, I posted up with Millennium. Two separate deposits. About three weeks ago, I called the wagering desk to use my Bonus Play bet. The wagering clerk said there is no Bonus Play balance. I argued and he transferred me to customer service. The CS rep explained that the Bonus Play expired after seven days if not used. I was livid. I told him to put it back, he put me on hold and spoke with a manager and I got it back. The entire process was quick and painless. But the fact still remains, they tried to steal my bonus, hoping I had forgotten about it.

I will probably continue to play at the BoS books, but they are by far my least favorite and you have to keep an eye on these guys because they are BONUS THIEVES.

Here are some books I'm using this season and I have no complaints with any of them:

BoDog
CRIS
First Fidelity
5 Dimes
Guardian Guaranty
Heritage
Legendz
V-Wager
WWTS

Guardian & First Fidelity have the easiest to use websites. From what I've read in the message rooms, they are all solid financially. I have processed payouts from CRIS, BoDog and 5Dimes and they were all lightning fast.

"They have millions of cash on hand. They won't stiff you." An ignorant statement to be sure. BWE, are you not aware of the RX poster "craig" that was STIFFED by BetOnSports?

Craig hit a 6 team baseball parlay at BOS, the winnings was put in his account. The problem started a few days later when he requested a WD. BOS STIFFED him!! The SHRINK was able to get half his money. This stiff job was the beginning of the end of BOS advertising at The RX.

Fast forward a couple of years and look who's a "Platimum" advertiser.

Appreciate all the input. I will try Pinnacle & Wsex

BoS said I had to wait six days until the funds from a deposit I made cleared before making and WD. I don't think this is unreasonable. However, if you have won quite a bit and you are only withdrawing half of your winnings, I suppose some books would pay you right away. For future reference, is this true at any books?

BTW: How can I say somebody here referred me to either Pinnacle or Wsex?

They offer some very generous bonuses(call them and inquire)........plus they have a great loyalty program.

All this on top of being a first class book.

A win-win-win situation.
