I mentioned the Illini in another thread, PSU HAS to be in a "letdown" after coming back and then losing in the last second. 18.5 is too much IMO I took the pts.

I like as a similar game the HOOSIERS OF INDIANA getting 16 at home against Ohio State. They are comparable games with PSU beating OSU. I dont think these two teams should be giving over 14.

Hate to bet on Illini. So many cappers were on them at home against Mich. St +10.5 and they got blown out. Penn State doesn't have same offense as MSU but Illini are always capable of losing big and could have lots of turnovers vs PSU Defense.

Champaign is really pumped for this game, i was about campus this morning and even though the team clearly isn't good, One thing to remince on is the 1994 game, Penn St #2 ranked team with a pro roster, Illinois was up 21-0 after 1 and 31-21 after 3, lost on a last min TD run by Milne, but they covered at +11 1/2. Not as good a team on either side here, by +18 1/2 points this time!

Come on Indiana vs Ohio St has no bearing whatsoever on this game...Illinois +18 is the only play i can see making, you want to lay that much on the road?? At Penn St, no prob, in Champaign, forget it.

I wish I had seen this thread earlier. There will be plenty of times to bet on Illinois in Big Ten Conference play. Starting Jan 5th or so. Didn't you guys see the Mich St game? These guys are freshmen and sophomores! I make no apologies for this team, as everyone should have learned their lesson weeks ago.
